give away free shit (gifts) for ordering PPVs?

I haven't actually ordered a WWE ppv in almost 10 years. I'm such a leech.

I'm curious about this though

my father orders almost all of the pay per views and as far as I know they don't

unless he's keeping them hidden from me for some reason

They usually run specials where if you order 3 or so PPVs you get something. Last one I remember was a watch if you bought I think NOC, The Bash and SummerSlam. They're also running a kind of raffle where if you order the Rumble, Chamber and Mania you have a chance to win a Mania chair.

They tend to run more deals on their website. I ordered the webcast of SummerSlam and got a limited edition poster (on a heavy stock, which is awesome) and a Jeff Hardy doll.

WWE.com just gets rid of their excess stock. Not a bad deal really if you're willing to order the webcast.

I wish I would have had a Triple H teddy bear as a child.

That chair deal is bullshit.

I mean, really. You order 3 PPVs at top price you figure they can just give you the chair. The "chance to win"? It's not a car or a house.

Yeah. Honestly, I heard that and was going to order the Chamber because of that (I was already getting the Rumble and Mania anyway). But I later found out it was a raffle or whatever and they lost my money.

And I think they valued the chairs at $150, so that right there says that, for PPVs other than Mania, you're paying about half the price of a ringside seat just for the chair.

:wtf:

Do you get a wwe wrestler of your choice to cum on it for a glossy shine for that price? Probably cost about $30 per chair.

Better than pricing a blow up chair for $60 after shipping.

Disappointment.

Free disappointment with every WWE PPV.
For the most part except for WrestleMania.
An empty wallet.
no doubt.

The only free thing I ever got for ordering a WWE PPV is when my dad ordered Royal Rumble '99 for me and they sent me a two pack of wrestling action figures of Stone Cold and Vince McMahon, they both were special Royal Rumble figures. I still have them to this day.

I have a lot of the old giveaway stuff they did for the WWF PPVs.

You used to have to mail in your cable bill and they sent you something.

I have my Mankind notepad / button set, Stone Cold 1/64 scale funny car, Stone Cold license plate, WWF superstars photo frame magnet, WWF mouspad, WWF cd case, the Rock (or Stone Cold, don't recall) dog tags, and some other stuff.

I have a huge collection of shit, so some of these items I recall easily - others not so much.

Royal Rumble 2000 I always remember advertising a FREE STONE COLD CAP for the Americans who ordered.

The sweepstakes were better.

I remember a family won dinner with Stone Cold and they took him to The Sizzler.

And you can't forget about the $60 inflatable King of the Ring chair.
