Ric Flair should be the manager of this group, but not a active member.. he's just too outdated.. I mean, people like Sting, Nash, Hall, Xpac, they are still in decent shape and young. But Flair and Hogan are in their 60s and old. Get real.

Hope to see Heyman come in and be THE 3RD ANNOUNCER LIKE WCW USE TO HAVE! Think about it, Heenan use to wrestle, Taz is like Heenan. The Professor is from WCW days and Heyman can be like Shiavonie.

Going to 8 pm est IS A BRILLIANT IDEA!

Ok now that the faggoty responses are out of the way a Four Horsemen stable with AJ, Wolfe, and the MCMG would be fucking incredible and would honestly make me tune into Impact over Raw.

Supreme Olajuwon
03-25-2010, 03:28 PM
With Flair as the manager of course

Jordan
03-25-2010, 03:36 PM
TNA can't use "The Four Horsemen" for the same reason they can't use "The Dudley Boyz"... copyrights...

Anyway, I saw this coming a few weeks ago when Wolf helped out Styles and Flair. I would say the best choices would be Styles, Wolfe, Morgan, and MCMG, with Flair managing. There is no need to only stick with four if they can't use that name.

Xero

You know, I checked the USPTO and there is no trademark for Four Horsemen for wrestling.

The name may actually fall under a type of fair use deal.

An AJ, Wolfe, MCMG stable screams DX version 2.0. And we all now how successful that was. It only makes the most sense of anything ever ever.

AJ, Wolfe, and Sting...call em the Three Shepherds.

They are leading the flock of fans into the next generation of wrestling.

The irony being, one of them is named Wolfe :)

Wishbone

AJ and Wolfe are givens and I'm thinking someone along the lines of Williams or mabe even Mr.Anderson would'nt be out of the question and ofcourse Flair will manage them

Tanawesome
03-25-2010, 06:57 PM
maybe Aj ,wolfe,beer money

That's what I was thinking, but since Beer Money is linked to Bischoff now, I see it being a different tag team like British Invasion or even Matt Morgan as their enforcer with Mr. Anderson or even Brian Kendrick as an X-Division threat.

MCMG would are great technical wrestlers but they aren't serious enough "Horsemen". That being said, it could be played into an angle where they would be more serious...but only time will tell.

AJ Styles
Mr. Andersennedy
Robert Roode
Matt Morgan

Manager: Ric Flair

I'm not sure they need another "enforcer" type as I already see Wolfe playing that role. Wolfe has been the one to run in for AJ and Flair. I think what they need is that "pretty boy" role filled in that Tully played for the Horsemen and what Orton played in Evolution.

Mr Amazing

Flair as a manager.

AJ
Morgan
Wolfe
Anderson

Jeritron

I think AJ and Wolfe are the no brainers. Though I don't really like AJ as a fake flair. I think he should be his own person, and just have Flair managing him.

When WWE did the same thing (7 years ago), HHH became more clean cut and horsemen like, but he still retained his identity as The Game. He also was the focus, and Flair was his sidekick. Flair stood in the background while he cut promos. With AJ, they've switched it the other way around. That needs to change.
I think the biggest problem there is the fact that AJ can't talk, and no matter how old Flair gets he will always be able to work the mic. It's an easy trap to fall into, but it's not doing anybody any favors.

Desmond Wolfe needs to be pushed, and win the global title asap. He's the Barry Windham or Randy Orton of the group.
A second tier belt belongs on a guy like him, along with a gradual push to the main event. Why is Rob Terry carrying around a peice of tin when a guy like Desmond Wolfe could make it mean something as a championship?

As for the other 2 members, I'd be torn on MCMG or Beer Money. Definitely should be a tag team though.

Jeritron
03-26-2010, 02:14 AM
Also, I think they should strive to make it Horsemen-esque, but not too close to being the Horsemen. The Horsemen is a thing of the past.

When the WWE did Evolution, it was clearly a modern version of the Horsemen, but it was different enough that it had it's own identity, and came off as an update rather than a ripoff. That's why it was such a great stable. Probably the last great stable there has been in wrestling.

A TNA horsemen-like stable could work, but they'd have to make it it's own thing and walk the line of being similar and different at the same time. I hope they can make it work. However, if anyone is going to fall into the trap of making it too derivative of the Horsemen, it's TNA...

Mr. Nerfect
03-26-2010, 02:27 AM
AJ Styles and Desmond Wolfe are the obvious two. There are so many other guys that could fill the roles, though. Doug Williams, Matt Morgan, Mr. Anderson, Robert Roode, James Storm and Daniels would be my shortlist. Truth be told, I think the best two options would be Matt Morgan (as the powerhouse) and Mr. Anderson, who would add a really vocal edge to the stable.

So my TNA Four Horsemen:

AJ Styles
Desmond Wolfe
Mr. Anderson
Matt Morgan
Ric Flair (Manager)
Chelsea (Valet)

Jeritron
03-26-2010, 02:36 AM
I think there should be a face stable to oppose them, but I don't think it should be a thrown together group that only exists for the sole purpose of taking them on. That would be too much like The Union, or The Frontline, or any of the other examples that failed.

It should be a stable that is created and built up as it's own thing over time, and develops it's own identity before it is rushed into gang warfare with the heel coalition.

This is something wrestling promotions have rarely done well. The WCW failed to put a good stable fued together with the nWo.
Evolution never saw a good opponent.
Think of the money that could have been drawn if WCW and WWE had been able to put together well built fueds between The Four Horsemen and nWo, or D-Generation X and nWo.
Evolution and DX, given the history with HHH and Shawn's existing fued. Or how about Evolution and the nWo wolfpack led by the returning Kevin Nash in 2003.
None of this ever happened.

DX's fueds with The Nation and eventually The Corporation are really the only good examples.

Why is no one else besides me screaming how bad of an idea this is?

Jeritron
03-26-2010, 02:49 AM
I don't think a stable comprised of young stars is a bad thing unless it comes off as a total ripoff, and focuses on the older guys instead of creating stars.

If done right, it's a great idea. Like I said, I think TNA is more likely to fuck it up than not. Even still, I'm not going to shit on the concept because it's a good idea if done right.

What Would Kevin Do?
03-26-2010, 02:58 AM

AJ

AJ
Wolfe

That is a badass stable.

I'd have AJ with the World title, Wolfe with the Global, Williams with the X Division title, and maybe Morgan and Wolfe as tag champs.

At at least one point, it would be badass to see them absolutely running the table.

I dunno. I know the internet is "high" on Matt Morgan, but I have yet to be impressed by him in any way.

Jeritron
03-26-2010, 03:37 AM
He has a pretty good on air personality and mic skills for a hoss. I think that's probably a big part of what people see in him.
I'm not a big fan or detractor either way. I do think he'd be great for a stable though. A stable like this could use a beast.

theexample
03-26-2010, 05:19 AM
Flair could actually work as an old fashioned manager, like a Bobby Heenan. He's good on the mic, he can draw heat and that's something the industry is missing.

It doesn't matter because TNA will still fuck it up and make it shit. I think factions only work when there is one person who's the leader and only main eventer. So with that in mind:

AJ
Morgan (y'know standard enforcer type role)
Generation Me

I think Wolfe should be on his own, A lone Wolfe, ifyouwiiiiil.

I'd go with AJ... Star of the show, top heel. Morgan, a beast, big guy smashing every cunt. Wolfe. Technical genius, hurting people and could be somewhat of a bully to lower card wrestlers. Flair, to be the main mouth of the group.

Don't think anymore are needed, although either BM or MCMG could fit in nicely.

Loose Cannon
03-26-2010, 02:40 PM

AJ

Desmond Wolfe

I don't picture Motor City or Generation me or those "guys" as horsemen. I don't picture them as the high class partying kinds of guys, which is what the horsemen should be.

i would put the 4 horsemen as number 3 in the best factions list

1. nWo
2. DX
3. 4 horsemen
4. Evolution

so here is my prediction

Flair as manager/leader
Styles as flair/top guy
mr anderson as arn anderson/enforcer
beer money as benoit and milenko
sting or desmond wolfe maybe both

its really important to get the characters right for a stable like the horsemen and equally important to get the theme tune right i mean come-on how awesome is the 4 horsemen theme tune.
