I've heard it in lots of commercials. Just heard it the other day in a commercial for the Milwaukee Brewers. I wouldn't think the WWE would let it be used for anything non-WWE related.

No, it's a production theme. Public Domain implies anyone can use it freely. A production theme doesn't quite work that way.

Yeah i hear it alot on tv shows. Real TV etc..

i guess its alot like Ric Flair and Macho Man Music. then again i think about it i also hear Hardcore Holly Music alot outside of the WWE.

Also Sprach Zarathustra is Public Domain, though the recording in question may itself not be. I don't know if it's a production theme or not in that sense, but I believe it was released on at least one wrestling soundtrack, something you can't do with production music.

It's one of the reasons WWE has moved away from production themes. As much as people wanted the Hardy Boyz theme, they didn't have the rights to put it on disc. There's more money to be had in themes you can sell.

This.

Production themes can be used by anyone willing to pay the licensing fee. That doesn't mean you own that theme though. Just that you're allowed to use it.
