From PWInsider:

USA will present the 5/17 edition of Raw commercial free.

So rather than getting more matches we'll get a Diva's match and a few more skits involving Cena, HHH, and the guest host?

And RECAPS!

And probably KFC Double Downs that sit the entire night without anyone eating them.

In the good ole days, heel Santino not only jacked your food, he ate it too.

this may be a dumb question but why the 5/17 edition of RAW?

That's it Jeritron. Every match will be sponsored by some kind of product.

Cena vs. Batista in a WWE Iron Lugz match. Both wrestlers must wear a pair of 50 pound iron Lugz boots and the only way to win is to dropkick your opponent over the top rope.

I was thinking the same thing. KFC sponsored this last year, I'm willing to bet they'll do it again this year and try to push this new Double Down sandwich on us every 10 minutes.

Or was it subway?

Pretty sure it was KFC. Wasn't it right after they debuted the Grilled Chicken?

Yeah, it was KFC. I remember them always having the bucket at the booth.

Yeah, it wasn't REALLY commercial free ;). Thought the colonel would make his entrance at any minute.

It's in Toronto. Maybe USA and WWE want the ratings that night.

I'm going to Smackown the next night. I wish we were getting Raw. Hopefully Ottawa will have a good show.

I thought the last commercial-free Raw was courtesy Donald Trump, or was that just my imagination running wild (brother)?

EDIT: Either way, someone ought to warn the Securities Exchange Commission that wrestling is fake.

They should have Mr. Burns host it via animated shorts.

How fucking awesome would that be? He could even sign the first ever Release the Hounds match!

Yeah that's what they said. And people who went to the show had their money refunded.

They should do a proper 1 hour Iron Man match like they tried to do a couple years ago on Smackdown but it was interrupted by commercials..

Lol... "A trained pack of wild dogs", meanwhile they're on leashes and the trainers are parading them around ringside and not being mauled.

And some people think King and J.R. have no broadcasting chops anymore.
