I was watching the "Macho Madness" DVDs and I wanted to ask, has anyone seen a Savage match where he has been sloppy in the ring? I've seen several interviews where guy's talked about how much Randy loved wrestling, and he was a perfectionist and would rehearse so that he could put on the best match he could. Even when he made his "return" in 2005, he didnt look horrible for a 50 plus year old man in the ring. Has anyone seen a match where Randy had horrible timing (like Hogan and Warrior at Halloween Havoc), or just did poorly executed moves?

well, let's take anything after 2001 out of the equation and no, I have never seen a bad Savage match. He was a master of pyscology, so even if he (later on) or his opponent lacked ring skills, the match would still be entrertaining. I think Hulk was the one that said Savage was a perfectionist and planned almost every second of his matches out

I thought it was kind of goofy that he tried to pin Yokozuna in the 1993 Royal Rumble.

Him versus HBK, based on wrestling 101, would have been entertainment at its best.

Btw, i haven't seen a bad Randy Savage match. LOVED his matches with DDP.

Savage's worst match would be a spectacle in today's wrestling climate.

I can't remember but if there are "bad" Savage matches, there aren't very many. Easily one of the best in-ring and all-around wrestlers of all-time. I've said it a few times before, he was the original Mr. Wrestlemania before Shawn came around.

Hogan vs. Savage WCW/nWo Uncensored 1998

Hollywood Hogan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hulk_Hogan) fought Randy Savage (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_Savage) to a no contest (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professional_wrestling#No_contest) in a Steel cage match (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professional_wrestling_match_types#Cages) (16:21)

The match ended after the referee was knocked out.

Yes, a Cage Match ended in a no contest 16.25 minutes in.

16:25 in would be ridiculous, even for WCW. :p

I remember watching that match and feeling jipped at the ending. He was apart of that "Nightmare Steel Cage" Match too, but in those matches he looked good just poor overall planning (plus I have a feeling Hogan pulled another "I dont wanna lose" card again).

i think his only bad match was the very first match he had on that macho madness dvd. he kept on leaving the ring and focusing on the crowed and the match went on to long.

by the way that was pretty stupid when he tried to pin Yoko at Royal Rumble 93.

but other then that i can say he ever put on a bad match.
