I honestly think it would have that "Hogan V. Andre" feel to it. Picture it, Brock Lesnar has successfully defend his title since like..Summerslam and has been undefeated. He is still managed by Paul Heyman as well. He hasn't necessarily "squashed" his competition in all of the PPVs, but pretty much handled most of the matches with momentum changes going here and there. Randy Orton wins the Royal Rumble to become the #1 contender at WrestleMania for the WWE Championship. Orton is at RAW the next night and tells Brock that even though he's beaten the others, he's never went toe-to-toe with someone who is as "sadistic" as himself. Brock of course comes out, maybe with some security as he is "the man" and has the persona that he has with UFC (if people have not watched, he basically was the way he was as a heel in the WWE, only sometimes uncontrollable and does very anti-PR things) and tells Orton he is just another blip on the radar and he coud NEVER beat Lesnar.
There can be hype to this match like there is in Heavyweight Boxing mathes. A press conference, late night talk shows, etc. Hell, Orton could be doing an autograph session or late night talk show with Jay Leno or O'Brian and Lesnar could come out and talk shit to him. Words cana be "bleeped" out, causing a "wait..i know that wrestling show is fake....isn't it?" feel and Brock could be "escorted out" by local police. Then, on a radio show, Brock Lesnar could be talking more shit about how Randy isn't shit and he's going to squash him in under 15min or he will personally "shake hands" with Orton or some shit (he could even make a promise...and i hate to take the idea away from JoMo, one of my favs, but tell people he's giving Orton his "15 minutes of fame" to hype up that stipulation to add fire to the match) and all of a sudden, you hear Lesnar being attacked during live radio (which would probaly boost the radio's ratings up while making the heat between the two look even more legit) and it could be "in the papers" or some local news..would be KILLER if it was on CNN but i don't think they'd go that far..
Finally, the match is here. Orton kicks out of 3 F-5's, Lesnar kicks out of a normal RKO, one through a table, and one off of the top rope. Finally, a submission manuever that Orton has learned that has to do with the head/neck area (in-ring psychology would have Lesnar pass out or not be able to take it after the devistating RKO's he's taken) and Orton wins by submission. OR, Brock could set up his "last" F-5 and while he swings Orton over his head, Orton connects with the RKO for the finish.
I know it seems like alot, but i just had a thought and besides two or three honest "dream" matches, this one is another one that i would've loved to see, thought it could be built up VERY big, and would have Orton as one of the biggest names to hit the WWE in the last 10 years.
