Also, they are going to be huge after this drops. So pissed I am missing them at MSG. Gonna be in Europe though so whatever.

Wow. I didn't think Funeral could be topped. This is incredible.

Ya I dunno not trying to "conform" here but might agree with you triple a, I think I got really excited listening through the first time.

Just gave Funeral another listen and I feel like it has more "classics". This seems like a more "cohesive" album though. Might have to give it a few more listens before I can decide

So I just tried to find a decent torrent and I read something about only 4 songs released? And the file seize is 16mb? wtf?

Anyone got a good torrent?

Funeral is better but this is pretty raw. I dunno. Haven't had enough time with this album yet to gauge it against the others. I would say it is better than Neon Bible though, which is also incredible.

Yeah listened twice again today and "getting to know the songs" and liking it a lot more. Also like it better than Neon Bible.

But seriously, Neighbourhood 1, Wake Up and Rebellion are 3 amazing songs that I really like with Wake Up being one of my favourites ever and hey, if Bowie likes them, they gotta be good regardless.

Can't wait to hear it. I didn't like Neon Bible so much as Funeral.

Omfg this shit is amazing.

No access to torrent sites atm, so I gotta wait til it drops on Aug 3, and buy it on itunes.

No problem paying for something this good, but god damn the wait is going to kill me. Listened to Sprawl II on youtube, and it blew my mind.

Live feed of their show at MSG going on right now:

Chick in the band "dancing around all cute"

Sounds good to me. The feed keeps getting messed up though and the audio sounds really shitty for a minute until it "buffers" right or something, then comes in really clear.

Hmmmmm.....

Well I finally listened to the whole album like 3 times...

I gotta say, it was not what I expected. Was hoping for some more anthem type numbers that were really uplifting - I can't even explain what I wanted/hoped because that's the thing about Arcade Fire, what they make you feel and think about is sometimes so awesome and different from other bands, its hard to explain, for me it is anyway.

Funeral is better, and to be honest, I think I liked Neon Bible more, loved lots of the tracks on there.

But I still enjoyed the album don't get me wrong...

REALLY LIKED:

The Suburbs
Half-Light 2
We Used To Wait
Sprawl II

KINDA LIKED:
Wasted Hours
Deep Blue

The rest I wasn't too bothered with.

Wow.

Awesome that live thing on Youtube. Still an amazing band. Sure to be one around for a while and hopefully, they seem like a band that will evolve and not just go stale. Awesome stuff. Didn't like Neon Bible so much, but my interest in AF has been renewed with this latest album.

Sprawl II I think would of been my favourite ever song if Tears For Fears' Shout wasn't so fucking amazing.

Watched them Saturday Night at Reading. Was amazing, especially since all the douches went to watch Pendulum instead.
