Finally started Resident Evil 5 last weekend and so far have completed it 2 and a half times, it's addictive.

Got my hands on LittleBigPlanet, the story mode seems rather short but thats likely to be a non-issue since the best level I've played so far was a user creation. Multiplayer is the goods too.

Kinect Adventures is taking up most of my time when I'm on the 360. I've said it a lot since I bought it but it's great for the most part. "20,000 leaks" sucks and the "pop bubbles in space" game is boring. The other 3 games are fun. Reflex Ridge being the best, IMO.

When I'm not playing that for whatever reason, I've been playing MvC2, trying out characters I never got around to trying. Think I found a glitch in that game aswell.

I picked Mega Man and just spammed his projectile, just messing around. The first hit connects then the AI blocks for the rest of the fight, not moving for as long as you spam the projectile.
I'd have thought the AI would have jumped out the way eventually but it didn't.

Speaking of AI, it's really weird in MvC2. One fight, Omega Red just stood there and let me kick the hell out of him and, the next fight, I get oblitereated in mid air, barely getting a move in. It's not a slow rise in difficulty, it's up and down like a yoyo.

Maybe something lost in the porting process, though I admit I don't really remember how the AI behaved because I only ever fought people or spammed moves in arcade mode. I never put faith in fighting game AI anyway, not much reason to make it sharp.

Played NFS HP a few times. Seemed really fun. Only played for maybe 2 hours. Didn't have an online code, so I had the 2 day free trial. Probably would have been worth it if I had friends who played it.

Starting New Vegas tonight. Probably gonna be like Fallout 3, where I put 6 or so hours into and give up. Maybe it'll be different. Who knows

Otherwise, still on FF6. Taken a long break. NBA Jam Co-op on occasion. Beat a ton of games over the break, including Machinarium, Gish, Trine, Demon's Souls, and probably something else I am forgetting.

I got DKC Returns and Kirby's Epic Yarn for my birthday a month ago, but only played a few levels each. They are pretty fantastic so far. I've started a few games like Prototype, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, Plants vs Zombies (DS), but I only want to focus on Pokemon right now. Maybe Pokemon and one console game. I always start games, but rarely finish them. I'm trying to work on that.

Yeah I just got it this past Saturday when I finally got fed up with the glitches in NBA Live. I haven't started an Association yet, I was waiting on this next roster update since the trade deadline is Thursday afternoon so I started playing around with the My Player mode.

I normally can't stand the modes like that in sports games, and this one was getting that way as well. But I guess I have a better grasp of how the Center position is played as opposed to the SF so I've been having more fun with it this evening. It also helps they let me make him 7'6". :lol:

My previous guy though was so awful, he was supposed to be a 3pt specialist and couldn't hit a single bucket so naturally the coach would sub him in at SG as well as his normal position. The last game I played they even started putting him at PF and he was getting straight rocked by everyone on Portland's roster.

Okami is amazing. I'm stuck on one part close to the end. I have to guide someone through one of those side scrolling mazes using the brush techniques, but it just won't work in a few parts. I have no issues using them in the main game. I've tried and tried and tried and it just won't register or do what it's supposed to do. It's annoying because I know I'm close to the end.

I started Assassin's Creed and so far it's not as good as I thought it would be. It's still pretty fun though. i think I'm about halfway done.

I'm certainly enjoying it; its Zelda roots are obvious, though the world feels a bit empty to me overall. These "small towns" just seem a little too sparse for me. Dungeons are split up in some interesting ways, but I don't like how every battle takes place in a battle area and creatures aren't seen roaming the halls.

I am most surprised by the amount of humor it has. Would be a good game for kids if they could handle the brush techniques.

The Persona series is a clear definition of a J-RPG. I like to play series in their entirety, which is really the only reason I've been playing through the earlier ones. You might like it, but I couldn't say for sure. The plot-lines are crazy, and the game is about fucking high school students, so proceed with caution. The series is best known for letting you talk your way out of a fight by socializing with the demons - its pretty bananas. Persona 1 and both parts of Persona 2 are PS1, and Persona 3 and 4 (the better games of the series, from what I've heard) are on the PS2.

As for PS1 RPGs, Xenogears and Final Fantasy Tactics are the first obvious ones that aren't on your list. I've always heard good things about Suikoden and the Grandia series, but haven't played them myself. I know Assman plays old RPGs all the time, he might be more opinionated.

I never played Persona at all. It is supposed to be really good, especially I think Persona 3 but like you I like to play series in their entirety but have strayed away from the series because they are so hard to come by. The first Suikoden is fucking terrible, but if you like Secret of Mana you will probably like it because you like shitty RPGs with no plot or memorable characters and no direction and embarrassing dialogue. But apparently Suikoden 2 is really good. Same thing is said for the Grandia series but I haven't played any of those although I will finally play the copy of Grandia 2 I have on Dreamcast someday.

Yeah I have almost no love for Secret or Legend of Mana - games everyone always seemed to love, and I just never saw it. The co-op never seemed to be all that great either.

I like Fallout 3. I played Oblivion for 100+ hours so I am used to it. But I'm almost done with Metal Gear Solid and Metroid Prime and trying to play some other games, shouldn't have started this.
