Not because I don't want to keep watching him in the ring and win 8 more world titles, but I want him to join the announcing team. He has been awesome in the couple that I saw him call and would be a gift to any team or show that he calls. Maybe he can pull double duty. Start the show behind the table calling matches and when his match comes up, he makes commentary for his opponents entrance, then when his music plays, he takes off the headphones and goes to the ring. Once the match is done he can go back and call the match off of the replays. This could be epic for ratings!!

He hasnt had any sirius injuries and hes only 30 (think) so he has a good 5 yrs at least I'd say. I wnt him on commentary as well tho.

Probably soon. I hear he's in the doghouse because he out-popped DX and nobody will join his stable.

Did I cover everything there?

Depends on how well he's been saving and managing all the money he's earned as a wrestler since if done well, he could retire when he feels comfortable unlike a Ric Flair who is horrible with money.

Since he still has a huge interest in wrestling and no serious or reoccurring injury, he could easily go for another 5-8 years or at least 5 and then finish up as a commentator or manager.

Ric Flair has good excuses, Divorce.

It's only a good excuse when it happens once. Flair continues to book himself poorly in the marriage department.

I'm still not sold on CM Punk, and I probably never will.

Too bad Chris Benoit did not do us a favour and show up to Night of Champions to make CM Punk his last victim, live on PPV.

Mmaybe that was a tad dramatic, but I really do not believe CM Punk is anything special.

He's good on the mic, good in the ring, has a good look and a good gimmick. I mean, what about him don't you like?

He's crippled. Also, he's retired. So...yeah. Health before pro-wrestling.

I would Punk has about 10 years left in him or so.

He would be great though as an announcer. Maybe they could just fire Cole and put Punk there.

give him 10 years unless he recieves a career-ending injury and becomes a manager or an announcer (like everyone else says).

Well he's out of the ring for 3 months now, so let him announce for the next quarter regardless and we can all enjoy his awesomeness

Punk is a much better announcer than most of WWE's current brodcast team(with maybe King being the exception to that). Cole's heel turn has effectively killed any good lines Lawler had. The chemistry between Lawler and Punk is way better, and hopefully means Cole's RAW days are numbered. Punk being on commentary will all be worth it once he hits Cole with the GTS and shuts up the biggest moron in WWE history.

He may be one of the greatest ever in the ring, but god damn Flair if he isn't the Brooklyn Brawler of matrimony.

wrestlers never retire they may die young,

i don't think this is true as much as people keep whining for one more match and never let it go.
