Michael Cole is pretty much a heel now but not a 100% heel. So I was wondering if there has ever been a heel play-by-play commentator before in a major wrestling company?

I wish there was a guest play-by-play announcer for one match who would call EVERY BIT of action and let no one else get a word in edge wise.

I'm sad that someone who posts on this forum doesn't know that Bobby Heenan was a heel commentator.

He said heel Play-by-Play. The only ones I can think of are JR.

Cole keeps calling Dolph Ziggler's Rocker Dropper the Zig-Zag. So, he's no play by play guy at all.

:nono:

I can't recall a heel as a PBP, they're usually Color. Heenan, King, Heyman, JBL, Ventura, and so on.

Yeah, misread.

I'm sure WCW had one at some point during an nWo show.

Did Bischoff ever do play-by-play after joining the nWo? I don't remember him doing that.

And JR as a heel commentator...was that just when he was with Steve Williams? I don't know if he was a full fledged heel then though. He was support the heel Williams but he would still call matches impartially unless I'm wrong.

I'm sad that someone doesn't know of Jerry "The King" Lawler when he was heel. That makes me the saddest because he was one of the best.
