Was there ever anyone else besides Sting who was a big name from WCW to never show up in the WWF/WWE during or after the Monday Night War?

I'd include ECW but all their big name wrestlers or main eventers all went to WWF/WWE either before ECW collapsed or after ECW shit down.

The only person I can think of Vampiro. I know he's not a huge star or anything, but he did get a pretty big push in WCW's final year.

Konnan was Max Moon in the early 90's.

Steve Corino.

I don't know how much of a 'big name' he was, but I know he was a major name in ECW, and he seems to still be pretty important in the Indys today (though I don't see why).

Tank Abbot was an upper mid carder.

Tank Abbot was an upper mid carder.

Tank Abbot was also somewhat crazy after a while in WCW (ex. pulling a knife out on someone during a match).

You might be able to he did lead the main heel stable in WCW for awhile but he was fading out when the MNW heated up. He was semi retired/ came back for awhile in 2000 with the Varsity Club but thats about it. I guess if it counts he was in ECW in the early 90s

Shane Douglas

That's splitting hairs. Due to the wording of the question, he still counts dispite having been in WWE before.

That being the case... Scott Norton. Yeah, he wasn't a "big name" here in the states, but a big fucking deal outside of it. WCW never really seemed interested in capatalizing on that and giving him some sort of push outside of hanging around "nWo: Job Squad" ("Pin me, pay me... a crap ton of money since you're pissing it away, Turner!" That should've been on their shirts!).

He appeared on the Rise and Fall of WCW DVD. So, that means that he worked for WWE.

Larry Z is one person who came to mind he did work for the WWWF though. He said that he never worked for Mr. McMahon though.

Bunkhouse Buck would have been on this list if he hadn't played Swagger's dad.

Legendary superstars, all of 'em.

More seriously, I'd loved to have seen La Parka in the E, and I'm more or less stunned that Bobby Eaton, who was at one point on the cusp of the main event, never worked for Vince.

Pretty sure since David Arquette wrestled on WWE last year, there's only Stong left.

Heh. I remember watching Sting: Moment of Truth on JTV and somebody called him Stong. So, we called him Stong for the entire movie.

Anytime Mike Awesome comes up, I keep thinking of him coming out of nowhere on his WWE debut to win the hardcore title, then he goes "Yeaaaah! Where's my beeeeelt?", then leaving.

I feel you on the age thing. Sheesh.
