Ok I know there are fans of the great sport of F1 in here so get in here. If not, the forum will have to withstand a lot of posts from me to me.

Oz qualifying begins in 45 mins. Pretty excited right now.

lol this random presenter from Sky Sports 1 is talking in the pit lane while the engines are being tested. Couldn't hear a single thing from his mouth for over 10 minutes.

This 107% rule is serious shit. Already looks like the minnow teams wont even get to race.

This thread looks like a mistake now, with no one else interested.

Nah, Was pretty disappointed to see Barachello pull that shit, and to see Schumacher go out. Am looking for a huge season from Mercedes this year.
Red Bull didn't even use their KERS from what I hear, so they are going to be brutal, and perhaps impossible to beat this season.

Not just Red Bull, but Vettel just seems to think he is undefeatable himself and that's helping him.

Put £10 on Mercedes to win the constructors just after their upgrade. Kinda wishing I hadn't now.

That Renault looks fast and I'm happy for Petrov, but wish Kubica could get his hands on it.

Thread is not a mistake. Bring on Turkey. Would pay for some Red Bull shit to happen again to spice stuff up.

Yeah Vettel is the man to beat, typical german attitude when it comes to racing. Kobayashi is a bit of a racer tho.

I love motorsports - but F1 is bollocks.

VSG

So is Australian cricket, what's new?

Fucking Vettel seems pretty invincible at this stage now. He might challenge Schumi ala 2004.

I dunno bout that. European tracks are a different jelly from these new fucks. Time will tell.

You guys think Schumacer should still be racing? i mean he hasn't done anything notable since he's been back.

VSG
05-13-2011, 10:52 PM
If Vettel ever manages to conquer Spa convincingly, I will respect him. Only Schumi and Kimi have done it in the last decade.

As far as Schumi goes, what other options are really there? He is just not in the best car so you can't really compare him to the RBR drivers.

VSG

Well that was a bit of an anticlimax finish.

RAIN!!!11!!1

This race might be the most exciting thing to come out of Canada so far this year.

VSG

YES! FU Hamilton! :D

Annnnnndddd Button has a drive-through for breaking the safety car speed limit too.

I see the Mclaren jinx of the team mates taking each other out is back.

#BROKEN Hasney
06-12-2011, 01:28 PM
Buton's made the right tyre call again though and is carving through the pack.

VSG
06-12-2011, 01:31 PM
It will only be providing info to the leaders. If the rain doesn't pick up, they got ample time to pit and do a tire change.

#BROKEN Hasney
06-12-2011, 01:33 PM
Dunno, he's only 2 Renaults behind Alonso right now, who haven't pitted and ahead of Rosberg no.

Bastard.

#BROKEN Hasney
06-12-2011, 01:35 PM
And as I post that, it gets heavy and Button starts aquaplaning. Fucking hell this weather.

Alonso and Button had to go back on the wets though.

VSG
06-12-2011, 01:36 PM
Rain! Oh shit, this gonna be a good race.

Kobyashi is 2nd now

Kinda wish they would reg flag it though. Expected to last for 20 mins and these are pointless laps.

VSG
06-12-2011, 01:44 PM
He hasn't done a pit stop yet though, depending on how long the safety car is out he may well be a major player in this race.

#BROKEN Hasney
06-12-2011, 01:46 PM
There we go, red flag. No more pointless laps cruising around.

Does mean Kobyashi can now get some fresh tyres too.

Not quite sure why Colin Farrell is working in the Renault garage today.

The pre-race thing with Vettel and Schumacher by Coulthard was funny. Meh, prefer it on BBC loads more than ITV.

Hamilton's head is all over the place lately.

I miss my coverage on ESPN-Star Sports with the hot Paula Malai Ali but I will take Coulthard as my next option.

Score, they've stopped the clock under the red flag. No 2 hour bullshit.

I seriously doubt the race will restart, its raining hard there.

#BROKEN Hasney
06-12-2011, 02:56 PM
It's coming up to 3 o clock there. The only thing that will stop the race is light because their radars are saying it should be cleared up in about 20 mins.

George Lucas being interviewed on the BBC. I'd rather see random shots of the rain.

Sky and BBC are sharing the rights from next season, BBC will show half the races and qualifying and Sky will show them all. They've already announced that BBC will have Silverstone, Monaco and the final race of all seasons.

Horrible news, but I'll let them off as long as Sky don't put fucking ads in their coverage.

VSG
07-29-2011, 01:20 PM
No more stunning analysis from David Coulthard? :'(

#BROKEN Hasney
07-29-2011, 01:33 PM
You might get it. They'll be commentating on it anyway for the highlights if he's still on BBC (Brundell's already said his contracts up at 2012 and has no idea what he'll do now) and quite often, the NNC commentary is the worldwide English feed.

Quite pissed off as I know Sky will raise prices and I kinda love it how it is on BBC. I really fucking love it.

Do it. Reaches 100,000 it gets discussed in HoP. So get on it. It's fucking wrong. Even if I have Sky already. BBC is where it's at.

The only issue is, BBC don't have the cash to show all the races at the same price as the contract they're currently on and we all know Bernie won't lower his prices.

While I wish it was free, I'd actually prefer Sky to it going to a channel that would put ads in the races like ITV did. Actually didn't watch the sport altogether when they had it.
