It's been a few months since he won NXT4 and a shot at the tag titles. It looks like his title shot with Truth isn't gonna happen but they have been putting these little segments out every week on SmackDown.

Do you enjoy them? Are they amusing? Are they a little too close to the sort of thing Zack Ryder has been doing on Z! True Long Island Story? Are you looking forward to seeng him debut? Has this promo campaign worked?

They're not so objectionable to make me angry, and they're short enough to where it doesn't matter. I would like to see where it's going, I guess.

I want to see him actually wrestle. Mainly so I don't lose TPWW Survivor by inactivity.

I like Johnny Curtis and I think he's an above-average worker. I just think these videos are obnoxious.

Didn't really care about him when I caught him on NXT, he always seemed extremely awkward on the mic. I don't think he's not charasmatic enough to generate any interest from 30 second promos and this isn't enough of a gimmick to mask that. I usually forget all about Johnny Curtis as soon as the next segment starts. He can only really carry this schtick over into his matches is if he starts busting out Chikara style comedy spots and thats not going to happen.

Who was that old guy with him a couple times? Is that going to be Ralphus2K11?

Horrible segments that make me cringe. Did they really have nothing better for him to do in the meantime?

Having said that, Ziggler started off as 'that' guy with the funny name who wanted to shake everyone's hand.

I want to like Johnny Curtis, but it seems no matter how hard I try... this always happens

Dude in the pic I used would probably have more success if he took off his pants.

Maybe he is nude and turning purple from all the effort?

Didn't care that much about him while he was on NXT although I was hoping Brodius Clay would have won instead.

Does he still have the guaranteed tag team title shot from winning NXT?

I enjoyed the last one. Mainly just because it made fun of his serious demeanor throughout all the other ones with the "fuck up".

No idea where they're going with it though. These vignettes, at the very least, need to just be showing what his character's personality is going to be like. I'll hold out hope that they will be justified eventually.

I actually like it.

Its that type of obncoxius Heel heat that worked for Angle when he started out.

Im not making saying Curtis will be great, but these are bad, and in a way that makes people hate him. So it works for me. I love it.

If only R-Truth was mad at little Johnny's and not Little Jimmys, they could do some sort of hillarious angle with him and Truth on RAW..except hes on SD..but any way..

I don't necessarily mind but I thought they would have put him in the ring by now, the segments are going on a bit too long.

Not sure that's what they're going for. Especially after the last one was just a goofy little parody of the whole thing and actually made it less obnoxious and more likable.

Fair but he did love on a Ralphus like "SEEMINGLY NICE GUY" so that adds to the heel,

So maybe he is like a total cheeseball that draws heel heat and has a bat temper? And gets angry at his shortcomings and blames others?

He's a great worker but during his tenure on nXt I always though him and Derek Bateman were similar on the mic only his delivery sucked.

Even if WWE intends to get him over as a heel with those horrible streotype catchphrases, it makes for boring TV. I will be interested to see if his in ring work is any good, but character wise he's another Dolph Ziggler. Not exactly a good first impression to make.

The funniest part of those skits is the fat Ralphus wannabe hanging out with Johnny Curtis....

As much as he's ripping off Ryder, for some reason, Curtis' promos remind me more of:

Kind of annoying, but I do find myself intrigued as to where they will go with his character once he officially "debuts".

Randy looks so different than he did 7 years ago. Different hair, hes much leaner, and he has about 20000 more tats.

just give him the paranoid heel gimmick with his ralphus mate and take it from there.

I don't see Johnny Curtis being able to pull off the conspiracy gimmick. R-Truth sucks enough at it currently.

The Ralphus wannabe would be an even funnier addition if Curtis was even near Jericho's league...

My personal fave of the 'RNN' promos, especially with J.R.'s reaction at the beginning of the interruption.:lol:

I like Johnny Curtis enough. I think he's a good worker, and he's confident on the mic. He's got a solid look to him, too. I have no clue where this stuff is going, though. I can't really think of a feud I want to see Johnny Curtis in, truthfully. But I'm sure it'll be decent, at the very least.

They should just give Ralphus 2.0 to Cody and let Johnny and Ted blandly try too hard together off screen.

I still like the idea of Johnny Curtis aligning himself with Christian, as sort of a protoge. It'd be nothing groundbreaking, but it gives Christian a heel ally to help him win title matches and such.

On the SD before MitB Curtis said he was gonna "make [his] debut a lot sooner than you think" and I thought that might suggest he was gonna align with Christian and cost Orton the title.
