Internet sensation Christian will win, but Booker gets my vote.

I don't think I need to say who I voted for

I went with Christian. I always loved Booker's character, but other than the Benoit series I can't think of any matches off the top of my head that really stood out.

Booker T is FAR better than Christian.

One this is for certain: Both are two of the best in the ring. I voted for Christian as I feel he's been a more solid competitor, but Booker T was a phenomenal wrestler in WCW and definitely continued that in WWE.

Not even close Booker T all the way.

Christian is the superior all around performer he's got the charisma and the in-ring skills. Booker is good on the mic and above average in the ring but until he can carry someone through a match the way Christian can he won't get my vote.

Tough call......After some thought, I gotta go with Christian.....

Christian, not bacause of singles work YET, that will take some time as I still don't see him as a "believable" champion. That being said, Booker in Harlem heat < Christian with edge. As far as tag team work goes, (and ALOT of it because of ladder matches) christian has a huge edge. I mean, come on, whats better than a conchairto? :D

CSL
08-04-2011, 04:39 PM
Stevie Ray and Booker T taking turns trash talking into the camera during every entrance and "Hulk Hogan! We comin' for you nigga!" are better than the conchairto ;)

CSL
08-04-2011, 04:49 PM
and definitely Booker. Love Christian and he's arguably the better "worker" bell to bell but in terms of looking like a star, mannerisms/facials/"the little things", connection with the audience/getting over, who was "better" at their peak, body of work, generally who I prefer as well as imagining I can only take to work for my imaginary wrestling company, it's Booker T. But there's no way Christian loses this with the current wave of affection for him that's been going round since his World title program.

CSL
08-04-2011, 04:52 PM
Also, Booker T is hall of fame bound, Christian I'm not sure about as he currently stands.

Booker T is one of my top five of all time. But I absolutely hate myself for voting against Captain Charisma.

Either way, it looks like Christian has this round won, which doesn't bother me at all.

The only time I've ever been able to watch TNA for a long period was with Christian as the focus of the show. Even then, Booker overall for me.

Gertner
08-04-2011, 05:17 PM
5 time WCW Champion, 1 time WWE Champion, 14 time tag champion, 4 time US champion, 6 Times TV Champion, IC Champion, 2 time Hardcore Champion or a guy who was given the belt because he's Edge's best friend and was the Marty Jannetty of his tag team . tough choice.

Emperor Smeat
08-04-2011, 05:38 PM
Tough choice but picked Christian.

Bother were great in the ring and had great feuds with Christian having his best feuds during his tag team time and Booker during his singles time.

Christian had the better promo skills and character variety but Booker T didn't have to fight as much to be seen as a legit champion. Christin's biggest problem was the multiple of times either Vince or the writers refused to push him to a championship reign just because he didn't fit the current WWE mold of a champion.

Gertner
08-04-2011, 05:40 PM
Christian does not have better promo skills than Booker T. His promo's were AWFUL as a face.

And you're telling me King Bookah!!!! wasn't a successful transition in terms of character?

CSL
08-04-2011, 05:46 PM
definitely don't see Christian as a better promo guy or has having more variety ("slave", Harlem Heat, WCW headliner, riot as an Alliance heel, King Bookaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh, "African prince", excellent commentator etc). The rest of what you listed appears to be internet speculation. And is there a better reason for not making somebody champion than 'they aren't what you want as champion'? The fact you mention Booker not having to fight as much to be seen as a legit champion says it all.

Gertner
08-04-2011, 05:52 PM
Exactly. Christian is in no way better than Booker T. It's just cause people have a ragging hard-on for him right now because he's finally World Champion on a shit show.

Lock Jaw
08-04-2011, 05:56 PM
In my own opinion, Christian is better than Booker T.

Keep in mind that I have been a complete Christian mark since almost day 1 of his career.

Also, I did not care for "King Bookah".
