I gave it one spin and I like it so far. Need a closer listen, but it's way better than the Kool AD tape which wasn't very good.

It's way more funny and laid back than his stuff with DR. He doesn't bust out his sharp lyrical skills in quite the same way and seems to be shooting for a more "deconstructional" approach as f*cking faggy as that sounds

The Kool AD tape is kinda all over the place. A lot of it isn't even rap. Most of it is kinda chillwavey to be honest. There's some random free jazz track in there also, and "Flyin Thru The Air In An Airplane" is basically a meme track.

Seems like half his verses are sick and the other half he is going out of his way to be awful (even tho they are still good, like he's making fun of "bad" rappers). KINDA half assed but I dunno. I like it.

Yup. Ride the Wave is the best track, hands down. Even kind of enjoy Danny Brown on it and I'm nor really fond of him.
