Who does it better

I always preferred Bret's as he seemed to wrench back on it more, which made it look more realistic. Sting did at times, but he wasn't as consistent as Hitman. Not to mention at Summerslam 91 the innovative way he put it on Mr. Perfect. Loved that match.

Sting or whoever else started it....Bret popularised it.....The Rock killed it.

What is the Kliq approved choice?

It would be Sting because the had beef with the hart foundation.

Sting had issues with the Harts? This is news to me. Can you give me a link or the story in a nutshell?

I liked the way Hart used his spare arm to hook his opponents knee. It always made his version look more 'locked in' than Stings.

Always liked it as the 'Scorpion Deathlock' though. But I'd say Hart does it better.

This thread reminds me, someone use to do a 'who does it better' series with moves and finishers, and included videos of wrestlers doing their own versions and we'd vote for who's was the best.

Someone should do this again.

I did the sharpshooter and it's various versions but I don't think I included a video. I think I did powerbombs too. I'm retired from making wrestling threads though.

????

When did all this happen? As was already requested, you'll have to elaborate....as Sting was never in the WWE and the "Hart Foundation" never made an appearance in WCW.

I've always preferred Bret's, I think it's because he looks as though he's applying more pressure to his opponent's back.

I also wouldn't mind seeing this.

Bret has locked the hold on from a number of different positions (standard, low leg drop counter, Crossface counter, counter from being IN the Sharpshooter). Sting only really used the standard set-up.

A deeper, more pertinent question: Is this guy a Kliq approved Sock?
