Just woke up to the news that MCA of the Beastie Boys is gone.

If there were ever a time to listen to "Transitions" or "Ricky's Theme", this seems highly appropriate. :(

I was wondering my my brother was listening to Intergalactic when he came over today. :(

He'd been suffering from throat cancer since '09.. They were working on a new album and when he was first diagnosed but I had hear that the treatment went well and he had enough voice to finish the album but couldn't tour.. The album still hasn't come out but hopefully now it will..

I'll say pretty much the same thing I said when Jam Master Jay got killed, I'm just lucky enough to have had the honor to see them live back in 2004.. It was one of the best concerts I've ever been to..
