View Full Version : CM Punk allegedly hates losing

From the front page:

A reader sent in a screenshot of CM Punk’s recent negative tweets about WWE. The tweets were almost immediately removed afterward. Punk tweeted:
“Not looking forward to the weekend.”

“Lots of times you don’t agree with your boss, but this is plain out stupid. These are the times I question why people still watch us.”

UPDATED: CM punk posted the following on Twitter, denying the following messages…
Uh. I haven’t tweeted in three days geniuses. Let alone deleted tweets. What are you crazies talking about?
What do you guys think? Kane for the win?

Not bannable, that was too harsh hence the editing, but to be completley honest you may as well make things up a start a discussion on them. Daniel Bryan rapes gophers or something. About the same amount of credibility.

Dirtsheets are bollocks. "Sources" and "readers" make most the news. The only time they seem to get anything right that is verifiable is injuries. Our glorious front page is even worse because they will not cite where they stole anything from and on top of that, appears to make shit up to get hits for his ad-ridden site.

But hey, maybe Punk is back in that doghouse he loves so much.

More often than not that's exactly what happens. The news feed on the front page has become a continuous stream of advertising for his 95 wrestling sites, radio show, pod cast, Facebook, Twitter, My[___], (does that even exist anymore?) and as always "you can only get the full story by clicking the revenue generating link to my website below." Still, sometimes it's worth discussing; it's no worse than 85% of the shit most newer posters come up with.

Probably just a work or a ploy to get more people to buy the ppv at the last minute and him deleting it just adds to it.

If he were to lose, makes more sense if Bryan won than Kane who was added in very recently. He meshes very well with Punk to the point they could probably feud for a whole year (ala Jericho-HBK) and keep it interesting just from the match quality alone.

Things I don't wanna see happen as an outcome of Punk's match:

Kane (or even the other two) and AJ start dating and we see another tedious knockup angle where she ends up losing the baby.

AJ all of a sudden ends up being forgotten about, and has little to no real participation outside of interfering in matches the conventional way

The match goes by like a normal match to the end and nothing happens when its over.
----
What I would love to happen!

AJ help Bryan win the championship, and when it looks like he's about to take her back, he shoves her down and spits on her. When he turns to get out of the ring, she flips out, pounces on him and starts attacking him. While he is trying to get away from her, she steals his belt from him and runs off with it, flipping him the bird in the process.

CM Punk's had quite a lengthy run. Losing may actually give him a boost, since fans (most of the time) cheer for whoever is "on the hunt" for the Title. If he is in fact losing tomorrow night, he shouldn't be too upset.

I mean, who does he think he is, Bret Hart?

When CM Punk returns to the straight-edge doghouse, WWE might bring back Bret Hart for a Punk vs. Hart match, which will have Hart winning by virtue (vice?) of Hart's Lloyds of London insurance forbidding him to be on the receiving end of any offensive (or damaging defensive) maneuver. Marks during the match will chant, "DO THE JOB! DO THE JOB!"

It really doesn't matter who walks out of No Way Out the WWE Champion. I think the intrigue between all three men will continue heading into Money in the Bank. I kind of hope that someone in the WWE is coming up with a new match type for these three guys to have, as a continuation of the Triple Threat Match for the No Way Out PPV. I'm still all for a Triple Threat Match where the winner must get a fall over both his opponents.

From a kayfabe point of view, Kane winning the WWE Title would make sense. The dude has had a pretty good record this year -- even if the angles and matches he has involved in have been pretty average (some of them just terrible).

#1-norm-fan
06-17-2012, 04:42 AM
Punk is going on 7 months as WWE champion which is pretty crazy in this age of hotshotting the title. I'd kinda like to see them keep it going. Also, actually try to book him better so that he can main event PPVs with the title. That would... just be super.

Mr. Nerfect
06-17-2012, 07:45 AM
I could definitely see Kane beating Punk at No Way Out with AJ's help, and AJ becoming Kane's crazy chick side. Punk would then have a mountain to overcome in winning back the WWE Title, which he could do at Money in the Bank -- cue Daniel Bryan cashing in a newly won Money in the Bank briefcase and you set these two up for SummerSlam quite well.

I don't think "saving" the face's long title reign ending for a big show is a good idea. It's supposed to be the face's journey to the title culminating at a big show.

Most definitely. Guy has been such a loyal worker for WWE over the years and I'm a big fan of his. When he first started using the Big Show name and theme in WWF I would rush into a room full of my friends yelling "Wellllll it's the Big Scotttttttt" and then chokeslam one of them. Would love to see them offer him one more run.
