Easy choice, Angle is (or was) the complete package.

Enjoyed Foley more overall, especially his ECW run.

Damn. Had to go with Angle because he was, as Road Warrior said, the complete package. But Foley, despite not exactly being the physical prototype of a wrestler, "got it". He just knew how to entertain and mastered the psychology behind a wrestling promo. Angle was just too well rounded though.

Kurt Angle could (and still does, just in TNA) do it all.

I love Mick Foley, he's created some of my favourite moments in wresting. As a performer in the ring he's underrated, he did some of the best promo's ever, he made HHH and The Rock's careers and is a likeable and unselfish performer. Truly one of the greats.

I voted Angle though. It was heartbreaking

Think everyone I've voted for has lost, barring Austin/Taker:'(

Foley is one of the best storytellers in the history of the business.

Angle is one of the best everything in the history of the business.

Have to go with Angle even though I like Foley a lot but Kurt had more of his share of matches that were memorable that was the difference maker for me.

Kurt Angle by a long, long way.

You will never see someone as well-rounded as Angle. Ever. As far as mic ability, personality, ring work, accomplishments, everything combined into an "overall" rating, I think Kurt Angle is the best wrestler. I guess you could make comparisons between him and Michaels, but Michaels was at it for longer. They are on the same level to me.

Not taking much away from Mick Foley. He has some unique things on his resume that are hard to duplicate and will probably never be topped.

Angle is the definition of If I'm not team captain I'm gonna pick up my ball and go home. I have never been impressed by him. He might have the better skills but I'm gonna go with Foley

I always feel and say that Shawn Michaels is the GOAT, but I'll be honest, when I think about all Kurt Angle has done, his great ability in the ring and on the mic (especially his WWE days), I kinda think that he just might be the GOAT.

There aren't a lot of people who would make a better captain than Angle. Definitely not Foley, for the sake of this particular discussion.

As a wrestling fan, though...you've really never been impressed by Kurt Angle? Have you not seen much of his work, or what? The man's a legend. Foley is quite charismatic and a hell of a risk taker, but Kurt Angle is better than him at literally everything besides a promo...and he's not even that far off there.

Tough choice but barely went with Foley over Angle.

Both had almost completely different styles with Angle more technical-based and Foley more hardcore-based. Felt Angle was a lot better in terms of ring skills while Foley was better in terms of characters.

Both were great with promos but felt Foley was a bit better overall in regards to telling a story. Both also had some really amazing feuds and moments with Foley's having a bit more of a larger significance than Angle's in the end.

I think we're doing this wrong. We're supposed to vote for Foley, blinded by fond memories and fanboyism, then cry foul, cry sour grapes, and whine at the people on the winning side of the poll.

At least, that's what I've gathered from the last few of these.

I love Mick Foley. I've never rooted for anyone harder than I've rooted for Mick Foley. Foley winning the world title on Raw is my all time favorite wrestling moment.

But Kurt Angle is so freaking good at everything. He's got a legit claim to being one of the 5-10 best wrestlers ever. Gotta vote for him.

Well that could definitely be argued. Not "Angle did some crazy spots too" which is what it seems like people are jumping on when it isn't what MoFo said.

Or maybe they do...

Of course if you take what he said somehow as "Kurt Angle never did any crazy spots" instead of the much less of a stretch "Kurt Angle didn't rely on crazy spots to get over" then you wouldn't be able to cry about it, so understood.

kurt did crazy spots...once. broke his tail bone and realized it was stupid. however while kurt dipped his toes into foleys style...foley couldnt do kurts on his best day, and as kurt proved he could in fact do micks.
