I went Benoit, I never found Hulk super entertaining and the Wrestlemania Triple Threat is one of my favorite matches ever

plus murder is fucking metal

I voted for Hogan and not because of Benoit's crime.

I never really enjoyed Benoit as a wrestler. I thought his character was really dry and boring, and his matches, although technically sound for the most part, bored me as well. I always felt the internet greatly overrated him in his heyday.

Hogan is a staple of the industry. No matter how big of a douchebag he is in real life (and there's no doubt, he's up there), he was a staple in the development of the WWF, but also managed to basically reinvent his character in WCW and become one of the driving forces of one of my favorite angles in wrestling history (before WCW drove it off the cliff). Even Hogan's last WWE return was fun to watch.

Hogan is often criticized for being all charisma, but I found a lot of his early matches to be very technically sound and I think his push as the face of the company led him to tone down his wrestling (much like with John Cena).

Hogan's TNA run has surprised me so far. I expected him to make the product even worse and hog the spotlight, but Hogan actually seems to help build TNA's new stars and mostly stays out of the center of attention.

Hogan.

I voted Hogan because I have no idea who this "Benoit" person is. You said he was in a triple threat at mania? Cause I don't see anything on WWE's site about it. :shifty:

It doesn't hurt that Benoit was the goods in the ring, either.

I couldn't vote Hogan fast enough. Benoit bored the living shit out of me. Great in ring storyteller but unfortunately my complete lack of interest in him as a character usually meant not giving a shit about the story he was telling.

There are few people I'd vote over Hulk Hogan.

And Chris Benoit is not one of them.

Sorry, Chris. Please don't kill me.

Hogan.

Benoit was better overall in terms of in-ring ability but Hogan beats him in almost every other category.

Benoit's arguably the GOAT in that category.

Hogan by a mile. Even if you discount everything Hogan did for the industry and judged it based only on charisma, ring work, look and mic skills, Hogan still easily wins.

Anyways, you've got Hogan, who I think anyone that knows me well enough knows I absolutely hate with a raging passion. And then you've got Benoit, one of my all-time faves, infact, my second/joint-first favourite of all time (surpassed only by Jericho since Jericho's overall work since his 2007 return).

Honestly didn't even have to think about this round for a second.

Benoit was so utterly boring to me that this was a no brainer. Hogan was unbelievably entertaining to me as a child and then again in later years. I think I probably enjoyed Benoit a few times but usually it'd be a struggle to stay awake during one of his promos or matches.

Add in the fact that he was a psychopath and it makes it an even more simple choice.

Sadly, due to the abuse of performance enhancing drugs, there will ve an asterisk forever next to his name.

Hogan and it's not even remotely close.

Benoit had one title run and it was a massive failure. He's the picture of vanilla midget.

The only people voting for Benoit are the fat workrate virgins, who are probably typing with a bucket of bacon fat next to them.

Hulk Hogan. He was/is the biggest name in wrestling. He could draw the crowd into the palm of his hand and the people ate up Hulkamania and unlike ************** he had an hugely over the top character and one of the longest WWF/E title runs ever and was apart of some of the biggest matches in wrestling history
