Ross says it at 2:07, I gotta think that there were wrestlers that used some kind of face paint (whether it be like with a military gimmick or Native American war paint) Was there a popular team before the Road Warriors to wear face paint as a part of their gimmick?

Might have been the first tag team to wear face paint to obtain that level of fame.

I don't think Great Kabuki is a team, which would be the question.
Besides, to be technical, Georgeous George would be considered one of if not the first with his makeup. But, he wasn't a tag-team either
Honestly, the only other team I can think of besides Demolition are the Blade Runners, and they were also well after Road Warriors were established.

No idea when that's from though. Could be well after Road Warriors.

K, so I just read they only wore the face paint for a feud against Road Warriors.

How about the Powers Of Pain?
The Powers of Pain were a knock-off of the Road Warriors
Wat about when Ultimate Warrior and Sting were a team ?

Well, Razz, if you're going to be THAT WAY about it... "WHO" wore a mask, not face paint, and was covered in another thread weeks ago. As such, he was not first.:p:p:p
