It looks more prestigious than the previous design, while also appearing stylish for the current times.

I'm sure The Brahma Bull side plates will change when The Rock is no longer champion and the current design will be filed under as The Rock's "custom design". The side plates will probably be replaced with plates with the WWE logo on them.

Yeah, it seems they wanted to make it look like a championship ring kind of but it still doesn't look like something people will look back on in 20 years and go "Wow, that looks awesome." The Winged Eagle, Attitude Era, and Undisputed designs are timeless. I really don't like that center plate shape though. The US Championship has that same style, and it just looks weird. Rounded corners looks better.

Also, if they make a legit division and keep them relevant instead of spamming teams to do jack shit then disbanding all of them in a never ending cycle would help out as well.

I can see how the stark COPPER look is a bit offputting, but I think the spartan helmet design looks cool.

It's funny you should say that because when the belt was unveiled, it did look a bit familiar to me but I didn't know where I had seen it before.

Then today I remembered that I had seen something like it before in a dream I had a few years ago. I remember that I mentioned it here and it took me a while to find the post but I eventually did. It was from 2010 and I said this....

I had a dream last night that The Miz debuted a new look WWE Championship.

He also had the current WWE Championship with him but I can't remember what he done with it. He was holding it while he had the new WWE Championship around his waist.

It was a similar shape to the previous WWE Championship but the middle was the image from the achievement from SvR11 when you win a World Championship with a Created Wrestler. The WWE Logo was raised a little bit from the front plate of the belt and the gold was the same shade of gold that's on the achievement image.

Behind the WWE Logo and what I'm guessing is an explosion behind the logo was a wireframe sphere, like what is on the previous WWE Championship, so I'm assuming it was the world but it was only visible around the edge of the front plate as the explosion covered the majority of the front plate, with the raised WWE Logo in the centre.

No sign of any eagles though, but I honestly thought the belt looked pretty cool.

It turns out that my dream was pretty close to what we have now, only with a few things out of place, which is both pretty cool and weird at the same time.

It sucks that one of the images doesn't work now though, but you saying that the side plates design should be the centre design is what was in my dream but I do agree with you. The side plates design would look better as the centre plate design. I still like the design the way it is though.

The black void behind the logo and the general size of the logo ruin it for me. As suggested, if they made the logo smaller and maybe did the eagle/world gimmick behind it it'd look better.
