Without a doubt it's 2005. You got Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper, Jimmy Hart, The Iron Shiek, Nikolai Volkoff, Paul Orndorf and Cowboy Bob Orton. So much WrestleMania history in that class with all of them being involved with the original WrestleMania.

with the glaringly obvious exception i like to think of the 05 class as the old school class while this year as the newer school class. or something like that

This and 2005 are neck and neck in my eyes. Look just at the time between Samartino and Backlund being champions. I know was a different age but that's pretty crazy. Add probably the Greatest Diva other then Moolah and Foley who owns a lot of the greatest moments of the Attitude era. It's pretty crazy.

I'd say yes in terms of the 2013 having more big WWF/WWE names and main event caliber stars than the 2005 class had. In regards to the headliner, the 2005 class wins that one.

Hogan and Piper were the big stars for the 05' class but after that its either guys who had more success elsewhere or were more mid-tier stars. 13' class only has that for Trump and maybe Booker (WCW work greater or equal to his WWF work).

Surprised they couldn't find someone better to induct Backlund. Nothing wrong with looking at Menuouousououous, just figured as prominent as he was, there would be someone rasslin related that would be a "better fit".

+on topic+ pretty damn stacked. Close between 05 and this....
