What are some good dance songs? You know, like the stuff you'd hear in a club or at a party.

Try to find Jaye Muller--Night Time.

I dunno. Most "Club" style music sucks.

By which I mean, there's probably some very good club songs, but I just tend to think that a lot (99.9999%) of them suck

In fact, I haven't been to a club that plays dance music since the day before my 20th birthday. That's 20 months now.

The ONLY good Dance track you'll EVER hear is

Sandy B feat Camisra - You make my world go round.

But I must state that this is the ONLY one and this thread is now void of any need for conversation and should be deleted accordingly.

That's kinda true.
I'll admit the last night out for my 20th was probably one of the best nights out I've ever had, but bar that night it's lost all it's appeal.
The time I went out before that (to a dance music club) was for my 19th birthday - twice.
First time one of my friends got kicked out, so we all had to go hunting for him, and the second time one of my friends pulled a girl I liked.
I'm not crying about it and I'm not saying they're the only reason I don't go to dance clubs, but when your overall experience is bad (after much trying), then what's the point in trying?

Dunno where that rant came from.

Almost all of them got that same irratating techno beat. So anything that's labelled TECHNO.

I don't go to clubs that just play thumping bass and syhtn reiterations anyways. It's so easy to find clubs around here with live music of good quality.

I lost all my contacts into the local band scene when everyone moved away, so dunno what's going on here.

For a decent night out, I have to travel about 10 miles one way, or 50 miles another way (that's for music and to be with people I know)

Kane Knight

Well, considering I already factor in travel time...

I live in an area where there's fu</>ck all. However, I'm pretty close to the Mass border, and can make Greenfield in 20-30 minutes, and Northampton in 45 minutes or so.

I wish there were mor eplaces to perform around here...It'd be easier to get my band some gigs if we could actually get people to a club or something, but with radically different schedules, when you throw in travel time, it's like every suddenly can't do it. :nono:

That's what gets me, that the music they play in clubs has exactly the same beat for every song. My sister loves that shit, she plays it at full blast in our house and basically it sounds like one continuous beat for however long she plays it, when you're hearing it from another room.

SHIT

Kane Knight

And when you're in the same room, it's thump thump thump with a few random special effects thrown over it.

What really sucks is riding with deaf people. They love techno and rap...It's about the only thing they canhear...And it gets cranked reeeeeeeeeeeeeal loud...

Techno and any sort of song with a repetative thumping eletronic bass in the background sucks period
