Where will he go next? What's next for him, what's left for him to do?

Regardless of who wins, they could probably stretch the Bryan/Cena thing out until Survivor Series. maybe at Summerslam have Cena tap with the referee down and without turning heel, just have an attitude of "I never give up. Look at the record books, I never tapped." just to give him a little bit more edge that he's been missing. The elbow injury even gives a good excuse for that.

If after all that Cena's still on top... I have no idea. Could see them hotshotting the title back on Punk by the end of the year if that were the case.

Feed him The Shield and The Wyatt Family.

Cena is going to win and Orton will cash in and then we'll have 4 months of Cena/Orton part 9. Yay.

Cena is not a heel.

He doesn't need to be, he can just shut down Bryan's talk that he beat him and give himself a new dimension of character that previously wasn't there.

Right, but that dimension is extremely heelish and goes against his current character. The whole "honor, integrity" schtick. Him saying "WELL THE REF DIDNT SEE IT, SO I DIDNT REALLY TAP LOLOLOL" would make him look like a douche heel.

Can't believe no one has gone with the obvious "If Cena wins, we riot" response.

Hey guys, remember at the turn of the last year when Ryback was pretty much the most over guy on the roster and was really tipped to be the next big potential main eventer.

Cena will be in a series of gimmick matches to beat people via shitty finishes, like almost every Ryback match.

I just read this on 411...its on the money.

Are you sick and tired of John Cena? Are you fed up with Brock Lesnar or even The Rock and their part-time schedules? Do you want a real change within the industry? Would you do anything to see Daniel Bryan in the main event scene from this point on? Has Christian been underutilized in recent years and needs to enter the World Title scene? Should CM Punk be leading the WWE into 2014? Now is your chance.

Purchase WWE Summerslam 2013.

That's right. Put your money where your mouth is. You want Daniel Bryan to be prove he is a huge draw within WWE? Support his main event run and add some pay-per-view buys to the bottom line. Seeking out an illegal stream is telling Vince McMahon that Bryan is not worth the time or effort. He isn't worth the $50. No, keeping the money and stealing the show is more important, right? You want to show that CM Punk should be in there with Brock Lesnar and/or any other legend come WrestleMania XXX? Shell out the cash and prove it. Instead of stealing Summerslam on the internet, make the event a huge success with Bryan and Punk on top.

The choice is yours. Continue heading to the illegal streams and not contributing a dime? Or actually MAKE Daniel Bryan and CM Punk into big stars with your wallet? If not, your right to an opinion on John Cena (or anyone else you dislike) in the main event come September, January, or even next April means nothing. Zero! The 'paying customers' are what matters to WWE, not the thieves. I don't know about you, but it sure would be nice to read that Summerslam 2013 (with Bryan/Punk in major matches) was a resounding success on PPV.

Buying the PPV just tells Vince that Brock Lesnar is worth the money they're spending on him. If the "buy Summerslam to show Vince Bryan/Punk etc can draw" would make more sense if it was on a PPV which didn't feature Brock/Rock/Triple H/Undertaker etc.

Depending on what the long term plans for Bryan are, wouldn't be surprised if a potential Cena-Orton feud lasts for the rest of the year or even gets dragged out till Mania. The Mania option might have a short break around the Rumble just so it doesn't become extra stale by then.

Think if Bryan losses, he'd get one more shot probably as a Triple Threat assuming Orton cashes and then goes back on the slow chase build until the Rumble.

But if it doesn't draw sales you can bet your last penny that the blame won't fall on Cena/Brock. If the show does shitty numbers the axe will fall on Bryan/Punk. It's a lose-lose situation for those guys but it seems to me that the "good numbers will help out Bryan/Punk" is the most positive mind frame.

While I definitely see the validity in this argument, you don't need to look at the numbers to realize that the fans want Bryan and Punk over Cena, Orton, etc - all you need to do is open your ears at the live events. Cena doesn't get the reactions that Bryan's been getting. Orton doesn't get the reactions that Punk has been getting. These guys are outpopping John Cena, the WWE's poster boy, and Triple H, the WWE's golden boy, night after night after night. What more does the company need to know?

I definitely plan on buying SummerSlam this year. You can talk about how over Daniel Bryan and CM Punk are all you want, and how underutilized Christian is, but when they get a chance you need to be able to give the WWE the numbers to back it up. These guys need to move the merchandise, sell the tickets, bring in the buys and get the ratings. They can be more over, but if they make less money they aren't going to kept up there for long. They can be over elsewhere on the card.

If Cena retains the title, I assume they move ahead with Randy Orton becoming Vince McMahon's chosen WWE Champion. I expect that The Shield or The Wyatt Family would beat Cena down on RAW one week, Orton would cash-in and then we'd get an Orton vs. Cena rematch. Let's go with The Shield beating down Orton and then Randy claiming he knew nothing about it. The rematch sees The Shield help screw Cena and help Orton retain, revealing they have all been working for Vince all along. Then Orton vs. Cena happens in Hell in a Cell, where I actually think they'd keep the title on Orton, since having a heel champ for a while might be a bit refreshing.

Punk was a heel during his run of 434 days. HOW WOULD THAT BE REFRESHING?! *grabs you by the collar*
