With netflix, lovedilm, box sets and downloading changing the ways we watch tv series, what have you watched "all in one go" or binge watched recently.

Try not to spoil anything.

As the title suggests, rate it too. Although I anticipate mostly high ratings as the reason you stick with a series is because you're into it, and they do require commitment.

Just watched all of season one of Luther. A little behind the times.

Idris Elba is an amazing actor. Half way through the fourth episode my girlfriend got interested and started watching too, which is cool because she isn't into this kind of show.

Going to watch the next two series back to back to back now.

big fan of Luther, still haven't got around to watching season 3, have 1 and 2 on DVD and refuse to watch 3 until I buy the DVD, which for some reason I keep forgetting about/am yet to do

started re-watching The West Wing for like the 3rd time a month or so ago, fell off over Christmas tho, will pick it back up soon 13/10

Watched this season's 24/7 Road to the Winter Classic over the space of a day or two and have been going back and watching previous seasons episodes. Basically Hard Knocks on ice so obviously it's excellent 9/10

Watched all of The Wrong Mans in one night before Christmas. It was entertaining/fluffy/decent enough 7/10

Season 8 could have been so much better.

For me it was series 1 of The Bridge. Danish/Swedish show that's been re-done as The Tunnel in the UK and The Bridge in the US. Solid 8.5/10.

I've binge watched a lot of shows over the past couple of years since I got on the whe torrenting thing. Right now I'm stupidly going through Doctor Who from the very beginning, as in from the 60's, so only about 34 seasons of it to watch. Probably gonna be a while before I move onto the next show I'd imagine.

The Walking Dead. Watched the first 3 seasons across a couple weeks then the last half season across like 2 days. 4/5 - loses points for Karl.

Working on Alias now as my girlfriend kept telling me how good it is. It has 105 episodes and I think I'm on like 14 or 15. So far a 4/5.

X-Files, the best episodes tend to be by Mr. Vince Gilligan. I skipped some episodes each season, but will go back to them. Saw the one that made me scared of aliens as a kid in like season 2 or 3.

Easily one of the best shows before shows started to be as good as this or movies.

Chuck 8.25/10

Had a tendency to kind of spin its wheels sometimes when it had a long story arc playing out, but the characters were great, the action was a lot of fun, and there were some fantastic running gags/jokes/themes that I would have missed if I hadn't watched all 91 episodes in like two weeks.

They also tell me to watch it as it's "amazing" and "fantastic", though I'm not entirely sure what exactly it's supposed to be about, even though my friends have tried to explain it to me before.

It doesn't sound like something I'd like anyway and I don't really have any interest in watching it or interest in anything "Sci-Fi-ish". Not really a big Sci-Fi fan really. The closest I come to watching anything "Sci-Fi-ish" are Futurama and Red Dwarf.

Arrow - Watched from the start up to date. It's decent enough, I probably don't love it as much as a bunch of others due to not knowing any of the comic characters, but it's still fine. Don't really care about a single character on the show though. Oliver Queen is mostly a pretty bland lead character imo.

Community - Also watched from the start up to date and I find it to be fantastic. Inversely to how I feel about Arrow, I love pretty much every character on Community. The gimmick episodes are always particular highlights, but the regular episodes are brilliant as well. So many levels of humour to the show. Shame about the situation with Chevy Chase, 'cause in the first two seasons, Pierce was probably the best character on the show.

I've recently subscribed to netflix and binge watched loads

Modern Family seasons 1-3 - good god, this series is funny. I was surprised to learn that the guy that plays Cameron is not Gay IRL. 8/10

24 Season 8 - I stopped watching halfway through season 8, but with the new series on the way picked it up again. It's quite meh compared to the early seasons, but still...it's Jack Fucking Bauer (to use his full name). 6.5/10

Breaking Bad season 2 and 3 - Incredible series. Hooked from the get go. 9/10

@El Vaq

You should probably stop with Prison Break now, season 3 is mediocre at best and season 4 is awful.

With Dexter make sure you watch the first 4 seasons. Season 4 is absolutely great and generally considered the best of the shows run. After that it went downhill and season 8 along with the ending is pretty dreadful, shame really because of the quality of the first 4 seasons.

But yeah, Oz is fantastic too, but so is Twin Peaks. Any of them in any order would be my recommendations.

Best show on tv since Breaking Bad and far better than anything else out there right now, just edging out True Detective for me. Amazing cast and acting right the way through. Hilarious, tense, shocking, dark etc etc etc. Really surprised more people haven't been talking about it, if you haven't seen it yet, it's only 10 episodes so do yourself a favour and check it out.

I have been given that advise previously; season 8 seems to not have much love.

Been binge-watching Sons of Anarchy at the mo (again); shit kicks arse. I'm currently re-watching the first two seasons of House of Cards before devouring the third season in probably a day/weekend, possibly next weekend.

I've almost finished my 18 month long binge of Doctor Who from the very beginning (plus a re-watch of the current series). Coming towards the end of Matt Smith. Feel like I should swerve the newest season since I only recently watched it, plus it was pretty bad for the most part, but it kind of ruins the whole binge if I cut it short.

Dr. Who from the beginning as in the beginning of the modern day one, or beginning as in the 1960s?

Also, yeah.... Always Sunny very good... wish more stations actually showed it...

I guess we know why you disappeared from TPWW for a bit. Too busy watching 800 episodes worth of Dr. Who.

Well nawh not really. I watched most of it while I was still active here. General life was the reason I stopped posting for a bit and why it took me longer than I first anticipated to watch it all.

It was kind of a waste of time though I guess. It all just blends in together and I can't separate much of the stories in my head. Was speaking to some older guy around Christmas time who was all "weren't alien x, y and zgreat?" And I couldn't remember what any of them looked like by name without googling them and reminding myself.

Just started American Horror Story, and I'm kinda not feeling it.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. 8/10. Sort of a binge watch as I watched all of the episodes but it's only one season so far and 13 episodes.
