I've gotten into the minutae of controller modification lately, and it's all learning as I go so far. What got me hooked was finding a 99¢ Dualshock 3 at a local fleamarket that looks like it was chewed by a chihuahua on 1 side, and no working player LEDs.Been watching tons of YT vids on the subject, I have a single pink LED working (it's about the size of a grain of rice, so imagine soldering that :-S) and I have the thumbsticks swapped out for a pair from a 360 pad, just to be anarchic  It's caught my fascination tho & I think it's something I'll be hooked on longterm- Anyone else interested in this sort of thing?

Think I'll be picking up a soldering "helping hands" set, to cut back on the eye strain >_>

I want to paint my controllers like the one I saw painted like a nintendo controller.... but I think I have to take it apart, and then, well, it would be broken.
