View Full Version : If you could see one person do a shoot interview, who would it be?

Who would you want to watch an hours long shoot interview with the most? This is under the assumption you would get the truth.

My Answer: Vince McMahon

On another note, I'm surprised WWE hasn't tried to do more of these. The Shawn/Bret DVD was basically a shoot interview mixed in with video footage. Their production quality along with integrating video and stuff would make them easy sells that would be quite cheap to produce. It'd add another level of marketability for the WWE Network. ROH, RF, and HighSpots wouldn't do so many of them if they didn't make money off of them.

Probably a few backstage guys who would be pretty good if they were legit shooting honestly.

The answer is Vince. But Taker would be a close second. Hoping for books by both if those guys.

Taker. He seems like a guy who would tell it like it really is and wouldn't sugar coat anything. Also his longevity would give insight to a lot of different times in the business.

I think Vince would try to protect the Brand too much.

Shane McMahon.

Id have to say Taker, You never hear too much from him because he's a company guy. With the timeframe his career has covered he must have so many stories about so many of the guys, matches, incidents, backstage politicking etc.

I truely hope he writes an autobiography one day. Thats money just waiting to be printed.

Vince. JR would be a close second, but he's such a WWE company guy I don't think we'd get anything fun out of him. Also he blogs and tweets, so most anything he'd be willing to talk about he's probably already covered at some point. And of course Vince is WWE-centric also, but he's very quiet when it comes to opening up in public. Just the chance to sit with him and pitch the questions would be interesting.

Would love to hear Ted Turner speak about WCW. How Nitro came together, the rise and fall of WCW, Bischoff, McMahon.

Kevin Von Erich, but only if he held nothing back.

Kevin did one for RF Video a long time ago.

He embellishes some stuff in it of course as usual.

Have any of the Fullers done a shoot?

Robert Fuller has done one for RF Video that is really really good.

He also did a Kayfabe Commentaries Guest Booker on Shawn Michaels in the NWO IIRC.

Robert's cousin Jimmy Golden has also done a shoot interview with RF Video.

Here's his RF Shoot Video:

I think the McMahons are an obvious answer, but after them I would actually go with someone from the production crew or a ref.

Pat Patterson would be interesting lol

I'd really be interested in that one tbh.

I mean he was a groundbreaking guy who paved the way for people like Darren Young.

I mean shit he was pretty much an openly gay man in a time when a lot of people stayed in the closet out of fear.

I'd love to hear stories of his time in the old Roy Shire territory in San Francisco myself.

has Michael Hayes ever done a shoot interview yet?

I'd love to see him do one as both Terry and Buddy did one prior to their deaths.

Has Luke Hawx did one? He has told me a few great stories about XPW. And I am sure there is more he hasn't told me.
