Remember this was given a go a while ago and I really enjoyed it. I know it is quite complicated to organise, but I would be willing to give it a go (with AT's blessing obviously)

All we would need would be 4 guys who would be able to write 4 weekly shows and then a PPV in the 5th week. We would do the draw like it was done before, everyone selecting an ordered list of who they want and then getting their 20 man roster based on the order of their lists vs the other GM's.

I think with all the new characters that have been introduced over the last few years, this would be really fresh now. I remember the last time that shows were perhaps, a little too long, but that can be adjusted.

We could also give a day of the week to every show (Mon-Thurs), so there would be one show to read through everyday and give feedback on.

We would then have our judges table that made the final decision.

Do we think this is worth giving another go?

I'm in if we do it. Had some good ideas going in my team that I wouldn't mind revisiting.

It was fun. Just hard to get that many people organized. You have my blessing if you want to give it a go.

Thought it was a great concept and really added something to the forum, so am willing to give it another go. GM's would have to have their shows up to date though and ready to go, otherwise would get messy. My idea would be to have a thread for each fed, with all the shows and feedback in there, which would be updated every week with the new show...

Will see if we get the participants first. Loopydate is a good start!

I'd be interested in participating.

That's two then, have no problem going to 5 shows either, and having them Monday to Friday, will see who else comes along.

Anyone wanting to participate would need to have time to write a show a week though...

Armchair Warfare was the man. Though I insist that it be properly called ARMCHAIR WARFARE at all times.

Anyways, I cannot commit to writing a show at this time... but I was probably a better judge than contestant, anyways.

I wouldn't mind judging.

That's two writers and two judges, all of top quality. Might be easier to do a sign up thread, but will wait another few days to guage interest

Now that I am on here a bit more via mobile posting, I'll reclaim my judge seat if needed.

If you need any help with the format, I could probably be helpful too. Get a hold of XL, btw.

Would probably need help with any graphics for the feds and the actual Armchair Warfare banner, to make it more presentable. If someone is good with thet kind of thing, that would be a massive help...

Format wise AT, how did you do it the last time, and was gthere anything you would change? What problems did you have last time?

The format was fine, really. It was just a matter of timely entries and people getting burnt out. Let me find that link to that one thread from Lock Jaw...

get DTTS to write again and then tell him you didn't like his show. Entertainment abound.

The problem with this is to keep people involved, pretty much everything (WWE Pool, TPWW Survivor, Armchair Warfare) dies off in a few weeks. I really hope this works out, I would love to judge my 3rd season of #ArmchairWarfare

Disgusted by all these instances of lack of all caps in ARMCHAIR WARFARE. May withdraw.

Obviously it would take everyone involved to stay the course and be commited to it for 5 weeks. It is really not that hard if everyone does their part. I am off work for the summer, so can keep on top of things on my end.

We have a decent crew involved already, so just need a few more names who are willing to go for it. Will see if anyone else comes forward and if not, will put up a sign-up thread tomorrow winc those that have said they are in on this thread...

Also...ARMCHAIR WARFARE :shifty:

Oh, man!

Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in.

Kinda torn though. I loved my time with ARMCHAIR WARFARE as a booker, judge or running the whole thing (think I did all of those) HOWEVER every attempt at it has fallen before it reached the last hurdle. A weekly deadline becomes a fortnightly deal and eventually a new show never goes up.

The team aspect of the last one should have made it work as the responsibility of writing the Wall O' Text wasn't on one guy's shoulders...but it failed after one week. (I always wanted to post what our team had planned as I thought we had some great ideas and we'd already put a lot of work in).

The trouble is; I have no idea how to make it work for the full duration. I hate to be the guy to poo-poo the idea of a revival but how many times have we failed at this?

Maybe you're right, but it's a shame, really is. Think the forum could do with some things like this. Not enough threads or decent topics and I really enjoyed this the last few times...
