Maybe I am missing something, but surely JR should be on a par with the seasoned performers he commentated on. Most of my favourite moments in wresting, I cant remember without JR's voice calling the action. He is arguably the best of all time and while Cole is good at linking everything together, big matches and big moments arent the same without good ole JR
Even when he was with the company, he was fired and brought back, made fun of on screen and generally treated with a lack of care and respect. He should be being heralded and brought back for special events and to elevate Mania and the like, but while The King is still wheeled out after several health issues and having a heart attack live on Raw, JR is ignored and widely forgotten on WWE programming.
Why is it? Are we missing something? Do you think WWE should be using JR in any kind of role? And does he deserve legend status on a par with the performers whose matches he called?
