This movie was boring as hell and not close to the best Marvel film!

No, think it's on of the best Marvel movies. Thought it was better than Civil War.

Nope, it was one of the best Marvel films by far. Not exactly my favorite, but it's in the top 3 for me for sure.

You couldn't have been more wrong. Utterly changed the status quo of the entire MCU and paved the way for some awesome stories.

I wouldn't say it sucked it was...cool that said not feeling Civil War at all it feels like there are no stakes because the team has nothing to lose...you could at least afford to sacrifice the likes of Hawkeye. So to me there is no weight to any of that movie.

Yea I felt the same way and offered a similar opinion in the Rate the Last movie thread :y:

Winter Soldier is great though, between it and the first Avengers movie for my favourite Marvel film.

Eh, I've never understood the whole "weight" argument in movies. Just can't wrap my head around how other people seem to judge the stakes in a movie, especially one like this. Not saying you're wrong for it or anything btw, just saying that I don't understand it is all. To me if a movie is fun to watch it's fun to watch. I don't usually think about stuff like "how much do the characters have to lose" and stuff.

Do we need to kill a character every movie to remind you death exists? Or you can you just remember from the last time?

I need constant, daily reminders of human mortality.

Would have really liked to have seen them kill Iron Patriot or War Machine, what ever they're calling him now.

If I'm not mistaken War Machine is currently romantically involved with Captain Marvel in the comics so keeping him alive may have been done to allow for that in the movies since Captain Marvel's movie will be coming out some time in the future.

Was a really good film and probably below Avengers 1 and Iron Man 1 as my favorite modern Marvel films. Also below Dark Knight if including DC films.

Do remember semi-blowing out my PC's speakers when watching the DVD because of the high pitch the helicarriers would make during the film.

Are you trying to be controversial?

I mean, I understand not everyone has to like the same movies, but why start a thread?
