WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair told a story on his podcast The Ric Flair Show (which you can listen to at www.MLWRadio.com) about how in the 1990s, he slept with actress Halle Berry in Atlanta. As one might imagine, the story quickly went viral and has been picked up as a talking point by a number of radio shows and mainstream news outlets.

Earlier today, Berry released a statement to TMZ.com, claiming that the story was false. A Berry source told TMZ, "A man doesn't get to sexualize and lie about a woman he's never met to better himself or his name. It's offensive, demeaning and beyond misogynistic." The source also denied that Berry had never met Flair, claiming that she had never even heard of him until the story broke.

Flair recorded a new episode of his podcast earlier today, so it should be interesting to see if and how he responds to how the story blew up and the denials from Berry's camp.
