John Cena but not really. Think Cena should be involved in something else that will entertain me. But he is the best oppenent for Taker. He is the best oppenent for everyone else too.

From a realistic standpoint, John Cena. From a theatrical standpoint, Sting. From a shits & giggles standpoint, Maven.

If they give Goldberg to John Cena I'd rather see Taker-Reigns, but if Goldberg-Cena isn't happening then Taker-Cena is the right call.

I've been desiring to see an Undertaker/Goldberg program for going on fourteen years. I don't watch wrestling anymore, but I may start viewing some of it again if those two do business together.

Personally, I wish the Dead Man would bring back his biker gimmick if he does an angle with Bill. Watching two powerhouse rednecks feuding would be entertaining. I would also enjoy the old-school and intense promos between the two. I think it would be an epic feud.

I won't my breath on Calloway going back to being a biker character however. The marks love the "Man from the Dark Side" act too much. That's alright however cause I do too.

Additionally, both performers are icons. They can make it work.

I've said it before only match I have any interest in is Sting. Of the ones you listed I guess Finn Balor would be the best option from a story stand point.

Would have been epic.

As it stands, Cena vs Taker is still the "big fight feel" kinda match that is becoming more and more rare. It needs to happen. Taker was the locker room leader who gave Cena his "seal of approval" after his debut. They should put that scene in every promo video for the match. Taker going out 15 years later in the main event of WrestleMania against that guy after he's become the locker room leader for the next generation would be a great story.

If it's Taker's last fight, then Cena. If not, maybe this is the right time for Sting vs Taker.

Out of the list, Cena makes the most sense and would generate the most hype. Also wouldn't have the problem where a loss or win affects his star power negatively like with some of the younger/newer stars on the list.

WWE missed their chance on Taker-Sting since Sting retired for health reasons and already got booked for other events during Mania weekend.

Where is he booked for Mania? I seen he has taken a booking about a month before Mania in NYC. Last I'd seen of anything he was still holding off on having a surgery that would essentially end his in ring career.

I love UT but I am tired of this returning for two months thing. Any storyline he is in is very contrived after Lesnar. Unless he wins the Royal Rumble I am not intereested in him at all.

Meh, don't really wanna see him fight anyone. I guess if I have to pick John Cena simply so we don't get another what if story like Rock vs HBK. Feel like it's too late for this one though. Should've happened years ago.

After Raw and Steph threatening Mick Foley if Taker didn't show up, and the fact that we got Taker defending Vince last year leads me to believe we're gonna get Undertaker vs. Mick Foley at WrestleMania in a winner is General Manager match, possibly in a hell in a cell. Kudos to them for giving Mick and the fans what they want in one last match between these two legends and rivals.

I dont pay attention to non WWE things, so if Sting is booked, I guess thats out. Not that I thought that was the direction, just looking at it from the point of view that Sting likely doesnt have much time left, and neither does Taker. Unless he really is undead.

In all seriousness, I really believe the only person who could carry Taker to a decent match would be Jericho.

Part of me wants to see another Taker v Lesnar match: Taker avenges his loss to Lesnar and then retires. I want to see Goldberg win the WWE title at Wrestle Mania though so I'm torn on this one.

But I think for a while now there have been rumours of Cena v Taker so that's the way to go.

Also given WM 34 is back in New Orleans that might be a better time for Taker to retire and avenge his defeat to Lesnar (i.e. return to the scene of the crime) but that is of course assuming he is still fit to compete.

WRT Sting, the man isn't getting back in the ring again nor should he do unless he wants to see out his days paralysed from the neck down. The Sting v Taker ship sailed a long time ago and if Sting's brief run in WWE was anything to go by, it's best he stays retired.

This is pretty much a perfect representation of my answer. I'd be happy if there were no Undertaker at WrestleMania this year. I feel that Mania should be somewhat a wrap-up to the year's worth of storylines, and Taker hasn't really been around for much. No real star is created through Cena vs. Taker, although if enough eyeballs get drawn to the product then guys can get over underneath.

The best part of WWE is arguably the video packages they put together, and I have no doubt that they will make this match feel heavyweight. If it is for the WWE Title, then it will help that belt. I've accepted it as the Mania headliner.

I would also be "fine" with AJ Styles defending the belt against Taker with Cena facing Samoa Joe. Anderson & Gallows can jump over from RAW and put Taker in dire threat, so a guy like Stone Cold, The Rock or Shawn Michaels can be placed as special guest enforcer in order to keep things running smoothly.

Would love to see HBK come back and finally beat Taker in his last match at WrestleMania. For purely selfish reasons. Still bitter he went out losing to him twice and unable to get over that hump.

Outside of Cena I have no interest in seeing him wrestle anyone. Its one of the few big dream matches they can do and I know they wrestled in 2003 but it would mean so much more now.

Few years ago I would of said Taker/Jericho when Jericho was hot as a heel from 2008-2010 but like a lot of people I am in the disgruntled category when it comes to Jericho.

Jericho is a goof now. He's entertaining because everything around him is shit and he's chewing scenery. His ring work really hasn't been that hot and people were generally pretty down on him until this Kevin Owens buddy thing.

Yeah up until the Owens stuff people couldn't stand him. He'd come back and people would just bitch and moan about him coming back for another pointless 3 month run were most of the time he would do nothing of worth.

Yep. Now he's gold and retroactively everything he's done in 2017 is gold. I haven't minded him, truthfully, but I can't think of a *great* match he has had. Maybe the New Day/Y2AJ tag?

This has easily been the most I've enjoyed Jericho since his feud with CM Punk ended.

2016 was a great year for him, only real glaring clunker was the Ambrose Asylum match. The feud itself was fun but man that match sucked.

Jericho's my favorite wrestler ever, so when the SAVE_US.222 promos were starting up and I was thinking it could possibly be Jericho I was hyped beyond measure.

Can't believe that was a damn decade ago lol

Not a Cena fan, only gets pushed because moms buy their kids John Cena merchandise, but...

I would not mind to see Cena take the title at the Rumble (seems inevitable :(), as long as he drops to Undertaker at WrestleMania. Yes, I am hoping they give the belt to a 50+ year-old at WM. And then he has a run with it until SummerSlam before dropping to...

Baron Corbin. :naughty:

Styles vs. Taker could be pretty great. It could have that HBK/Taker vibe to it. I'd want Styles to win and prove that he is the man in the business right now.
