Brock vs Goldberg is now one of the great mismanaged angle/feuds of ALL TIME. Wow! What are they trying to do here? What are they trying to prove? Maybe tell a story or something? Is that too hard? Does neither guy work enough to tell a story these days? This is so bad, i'm not trying to think of other great potential feuds that were completely wrecked, but I'm not sure there is one that tops this. Someone needs to lose there job. Literally someone should be fired right now.

Brock vs Goldberg at WM no longer makes any sense what so ever, unless you're running some angle where Brock is using steroids and thinks he's going to be Goldberg or something. I dont even know. It just cant happen. You cant sell tickets or PPV's based on a Brock vs Goldberg match at WM now. You just cant. Brock has lasted less time against Goldberg than James Ellsworth has lasted against AJ Styles ( AND HE WAS FUCKING CHAMPION !! )

Someone is getting fired for sure.

Fans seemed pretty into it tonight.

Could be that you're just way off base. Maybe skip Mania this year, so you don't expose yourself to this angle that apparently annoys you so.

Oh you won't do that? Figured. See ya in the Mania thread.

I'm not upset at Goldberg eliminating him TBH

it was too obvious once goldberg showed up and everyone else was down.

i just knew he'd immediately spear and eliminate him.

one time manhandling brock was ok, but this one you could see miles away and no idea what the point here was.

I think the point was to have Lesnar get his ass kicked twice and then to become 'unhinged' and get his win back finally at WM...unless Goldberg re-signs, then he will prob beat Lesnar there too lol.

Brock will beat him when it counts and is for the belt.

I liked it, was one of the highlights of the rumble.

Maybe they will have segments showing Brock Lesnar training under 10x Earth's Gravity in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to increase his power level so we can actually buy that he won't just get his ass kicked again.

it looked like they were trying to make him some kind of underdog coming into the 3rd fight.

but it just won't work with lesnar.

Would have made much more sense to have Goldberg and Lesnar switch their roles with what happened tonight. Lesnar evens it with Goldberg. Then taker throws Lesnar

Things don't need to be even.

I think it's been fine really. With both being part time and people knowing Brock is a bad ass, they are establishing Goldburg since he hasn't been around as much. For what it is I think it been ok. It's just a special attraction match that will probably be a bit of a disappointment.

Don't have a problem with Goldberg making a fool of Lesnar again at the Rumble but WWE missed a huge opportunity not having Lesnar get some revenge by eliminating Goldberg afterwards.

Right now Goldberg has no logical reason why he'd even want to face Lesnar at Mania. Already proved several times Lesnar isn't in his league and has more beef at Taker for costing him the chance to win the Rumble. Whatever the WWE is planning is probably going to feel really forced and/or have a really weak payoff for Mania considering the status of both guys.

I dont know why Goldberg has to make a fool of Lesnar at all. Why cant it just be an epic matchup?

That's an angle that's been done many times. They planted seeds for a bunch of different stuff between Goldberg, Lesnar, Taker, and Reigns.

Its also still very effective for feuds and a lot better than what the WWE ended up doing for the Rumble. Even Lesnar going berserk a bit outside and needing to be restrained would have been better than just being made to look like a fool again in the end.

If they planted any new seeds, none involved Lesnar since he was eliminated before Taker and Reigns showed up.

Watched a condensed version of the Rumble. Honestly, I'm ok with Goldberg humiliating Lesnar. Lesnar has ripped thru everyone. Having him be humbled by a guy he has never beat, to the point of being handedly defeated, is ok with me.

I do think that Brock beating Goldberg finally is the way to go. Even if Goldberg is staying.

This is the most intriguing Brock has been. He's vulnerable now. Yet he's still a monster. Difficult thing to pull off.

All I can say is that the Wrestlemania Main Event better last longer than 5 minutes. If it's not, put it on the preshow or Superstars or something.

Reigns > Taker > Goldberg > Lesnar is the story coming out of the Rumble.
