Didn't really miss much while walking home it seems. A Motorstorm-like game from the old devs who are now at Codemasters looks great but other than that,
it was just updates.

any good shmups for the VR?

Yeah, forget the name of it, but there was some gunslinging game.

RIGS is still king though. Love that game.

Interesting. They should have remade Time Crisis for VR with the gun.

I'm not against it. If they just released a shot for shot remake with the same combat and magic system, I wouldn't see the point. But they have changed things enough, and are adding enough content that it will be a fresh experience. If it doesn't become vaporware.

I mean, they only brought it back in-house 5 months ago? There's not going to be much to show for a while.

The game is great to this day, it doesnt need to be resold to me...what 7 times? How many eps? Pass. VII holds up great.

Bah. Being able to explore more of that world is reason enough for me.

Just because the original still holds up doesn't mean a remake can't have value.

Far be it for me to tell you what something is worth to you but free is the only price ill pay for something i already own

That's a bit of hyperbole, don't you think? It's been 20 years. Advances in the tech combined with expanding the content and creating completely new gameplay would hardly make the experience the same.

It's like saying "I'm not going to see peter Jackson's The Hobbit because I already own the 1960's cartoon."

I would honestly at this point prefer a direct sequel to FF7/advent children that picks up with the secret ending of Dirge of Cerberus. Genesis picking up the body of the current incarnation of Sephiroth, sprouting his own wing (opposite wing to the one Sephiroth has) and saying "We have much left to do little brother" before flying off.

Im not going to own the hobbit because its a war crime against good cinema

Its so bad. If he only it a 2 parter they wouldnt have murdered it trying to squeeze out the last ounce of money from the franchise...

Not unlike selling ff7 in 53 parts
