Randy Orton is great. I wouldn't be mad at vicious heel Orton vs AJ matches. More likely headed towards a triple threat vs Hardy and Shinsuke at Summerslam though.

Orton's heel was amazing last night and the fact that he's not using the RKO is so smart and well planned by WWE.

God damn he could be so good. It's not the right climate for it right now, but in front of casual audiences he could be one of the best. Orton/Christian is one of the best feuds of Orton's career -- babyface for that.

I absolutely love the "I don't give a fuck" attitude that makes Orton seem like he's so far above the others in terms of his confidence (even if he claims not to be), but when he's trying, he's just ace. I'm kind of optimistic -- well, more just blindly hoping -- that we enter this period of "Holy fuck, where the fuck did Orton pull this brilliance from?!"

Orton/Hardy was once the hottest thing in the company. Orton is still really good, and Hardy's charisma is still there. I hope they can produce something that hooks people in a way that they cynically weren't expecting to be.

If anything, babyface Orton at least avoids the pot-hole of getting stuck in the rut of repetitive booking and becoming as monotonous as heel Orton can be. I'd have to say that he is better as a heel than a babyface, but babyface Orton is underrated.
