Now its only predictions but what are your thoughts. Nas, Busta, Joe Budden, Young Gunz, Clipse, Kanye West, P. Diddy, Nelly, Dre, Eminem, Lloyd Banks, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Fabolous all have new cds comming out next year so what cd do you think? I might have to go with either Nas or Dre. since Jay Z is "retired for now"

Dre's has been pushed back so far for so long...

The most popular as far as sales will probably be NellyNel.. I like Nell alot, so I'll go with that :-\

BTW, Jay will be retired as long as Roger Clemens will be.

How can u predict whos gonna come out with the best album of 2004 other than just randomly guessing?

Oh rite, well in that case I think Juelz Santana is gonna switch his style up, become really intelligent, and make the best album ever by March and the release date wont be pushed back or anything because we all know how good ROC are at releasing things on time.

Damn, Tribe Called Quest has a new CD coming out? Shiiit, 'tis been a while since they've done anything. Anyways, out of those guys listed, I'd have to say the top three CDs would come from Mos Def, Nas, and Eminem. Those three will be listed among the best of all time when they're done rapping.

Eminem[...] among the best of all time when they're done rapping.

You'll see Dave, you'll see. When Eminem wants to be good, he's classic. He should have a full-fledged battle with Canibus. That, too, would be classic.

The key words there were WHEN HE WANTS TO BE, Em isnt hungry anymore and hes just happy producing the same beat over and over again so I wouldnt expect anything special from him. Eminem could move units with any shit he puts out so thats exactly what he'll do. e.g. D12

Dre

Dre

Dre's should be interesting, his beats havent been all that hot lately apart from like two 50 Cent tracks, the ones on Obies CD werent exactly groundbreaking so maybe he saved all the good shit for himself. I heard theres not gonna be any guest spots on this one aswell, which should also be interesting seen as "2001" was more like Dre's version of "Clones" than a solo album

yeah, I read long time ago that this was supposed to be a "story album" you know where all the songs tell a story.. and it's gonna be called Detox :D

I like the new Kanye West song "Through The wire" mainly for the beat.

I think 50 Cent had far and beyond the best rap CD this year, I really enjoyed his stuff, but that is coming from a guy who doesn't listen to much rap. (BTW I hate Chingy)
