Good, hope he gets banned for the rest of the tournament.

Disgusting.

yeah, just heard that on the BBC commentary for the Spain/Greece game. I hate Totti, he's an ass. Sucks for Italy though.

Just saw it at half time of the Spain vs. Greece game. Pure filth. Should get banned from the rest of the tournament and if he doesn't then it's clear favouritism. Mijhalovic (sp?) got an 8 game ban in Europe for doing it.

Not to mention his terrible foul near the end of that match, which deserves a 2 or 3 game ban on its own.

nasty foul, should have been sent off for it.

yeah, that was horrible. I doubt he'll get anything near an 8 match ban though, purely because of who he is.

4 game ban is the outcome.:|

Pretty much out of the tournament, unless he gets to the final.

Plus, in the case of Mihailovic, he has a pretty long history with disciplinary matters, so the cases aren't really similar.

Added to the fact he would have had a one or two game ban anyway as he was dismissed in the game. And he acted like an arse after he got sent off, he kicked a water bottle at the fourth official, and then he wasn't allowed back to the dugout so he swiped a stewards jacket and sat away from everyone.

Did he get booked? If they make it to the Semis and he gets booked then he could miss the final.

That's assuming a lot though. They have to sort their socks and boots out first...

What a cop out. Pure bullsh</>it and he didn't even have the guts to make a public apology. Wanker.

I thought the bookings weren't carried over after the group stage or something. Not entirely sure though.

Well I'm assuming since he won't be playing the rest of the group games it might be different :-\

And Rob he did issue an apology through his lawyer :p

I think the pundits on BBC said that bookings are carried through, and he might miss the final if they get there, if he gets booked in the semis'

He should have been kicked out of the tournament. Makes a mockery of all the fair play stuff that UEFA try to promote.

Apparantely UEFA are now viewing tapes of an incident said to include Alexander Frei spitting at Steven Gerrard during the England/Switzerland match.:-\

Rob

You can't see if he spits on him though so you can't really punish him. Probably did but he could easy get away with saying he did nothing or he blew on his neck or some crap.

Wengerland

Yeah i didn't see it and i'm sure the commentators would have gone mad if it was blatant, the Swiss coaches said he just said some insulting French to Gerrard and nothing more.
