Will Smith is latching onto lost causes...

All I know is, Bridget Moynahan is in it, she was in Coyote Ugly, she's hot and she's dating Tom Brady and unlike one of Tom's Ex's (Tara Reid) doesn't show up everywhere drunk... (not that Tara Reid drunk is a bad thing).

Yeah, otherwise I know nothing about this movie... but hey, Will Smith needs his 20mil every once in awhile...

I dunno, although it's not a new concept, it looks like it might be ok. I have to trust the makers know they are rehashing stuff, and would look to mix things up.

I saw the trailor for this movie when I saw Dodgeball and it looks like the stupidest fucking movie of all-time. I hate Will Smith and I hate his stupid wife and his stupid kids. Kill them.

While watching the trailer I can almost feel it drawing me in with its pulp-science fiction plot. Then Will Smith says "Somehow I told you so just don't quite say it." or whatever, and I"m back to not caring.

Will Smith always says sarcastic things that are so out of line for the situation he's supposed to be in. I will give you that.

I might see it guess. I mean I wouldn't be paying to see it, my uncle would be so other than a few hours of boredom (maybe, I dunno, it seems kind of okay) I have nothing to lose.

Will Smith is a terrible actor; he's exactly the same in every movie he plays in.

I saw it today (wasn't my pick  ) and it wasn't too bad. I didn't expect much at all going into it, thus I wasn't disappointed. I was a lot less satisfied coming out of Spider-Man 2. Take that for what it's worth.

Enemy of the State was probably his best movie. Maybe even Ali. Aside from those and Bagger Vance, he's basically had the same character since Bad Boys.

Ali was oscar-worthy.

But that was different... :?:

Seriously, I don't see people talking shit about Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis, Ahnuld and Stallone here.

For what it's worth, I hate Tom Cruise. Now that you mention I hate the rest on your list too, but especially Cruise.

I have liked most of Will Smith's movies so I decided to go watch this one. It was pretty good. It was interesting at that. The one thing that almost scared me off from seeing it was everyone interviewing Will Smith and others asking him how his sex scene was in that movie.....Now I think I might of been blind or something but I didnt see that scene in the movie. Was I the only one who noticed that wasnt there.

I started reading the book after I saw the movie and so far in around 45 pages into it and nothing is like the movie. Can anyone who has read the book and seen the movie please tell me if there is any similarity at all between the two or if they just took the title for the movie.

I ended up seeing it because there was nothing else to see and the wife and some friends wanted to go to the movies. It was alright. Nothing I'd see twice. I think low expectations are why I judge it modestly.

Yea, no sex scene. A lot of the girls I know were making a big fuss about him being naked in the shower though.

I haven't read the book myself, but from what I heard they started out making it just like the book, but had to re-write it to accomodate Will Smith's style of acting.
