YES! It is a neccessity to start this thread early. When we first got this board at the old forum I made the post. These should be archived.

Anyway, I was just looking on Amazon.com and I saw "Seinfeld Season (1990)" or something like that on DVD. So I click on it and I guess it isnt out yet, but if you put your email addy in they email you when it is released and notify the producers that people are interested in it. Without a doubt Seinfeld will dominate on DVD.

Last nite was a great one. George takes a book into the can, the bookstore guy catches him, makes him buy it & George can't get rid of it cuz its been flagged.

George: May I ask what do YOU read in the bathroom?
Jerry: I don't read in the bathroom.
George: Well aren't you something?

Just the way they say it is :y:

Alrighty i need some Seinfeld help here :) I was watching Seinfeld last week and they had one of those episodes where they just showed clips from like older episodes and what not. It was one of those compilation episodes. Anyhow i was just wondering if anyone would happen to know how many of these compilation epsiodes they had, and in addition what season and what episode number they were. Thanks :)

BCWWF
12-24-2003, 05:00 PM
If it was the same one as they showed here, it was the clip show they showed before the final episode.

I am pretty sure there are two clip episodes if I am not mistaken? One has some phony gimmick where they are getting ready to go to a movie etc etc.

el fregadero
12-24-2003, 05:18 PM
I believe there's two, also.

#1-norm-fan

I think the clip show before the season finale was actually broken up into two episodes.

Then there was a clip show celebrating 100 episodes too.

Triple A
12-28-2003, 04:32 AM
Episode 100 is "Highlights of a Hundred (Part 1)"

Episode 101 is Part 2.

And then episode 177 is The Clip Show (Part 1) and 178 is Part 2.

That's it, so 4 in total.

The one on in Chicago area today was where Jerry's money guy is supposedly on drugs cause he sniffs all the time. Kramer and Newman have money invested with this guy, and Kramer does a "sting" on him and ends up taking a picture of this guy on a toilet lollll....

LOL I was just thinking about the one where Kramer sells all his stories to Peterman and he can't use them anymore, so he comes in and he is like, "So have you guys heard about my bunyon? Well, I was soaking my feet and all this meat falls into the water..." and Jerry and Elaine are like, "UGH I don't want to hear that kinda stuff." and he is like, "DAMN, I bought a bunch of bunyon stories from Newman." LOL

Favorite moment has to be the jerk store episode, TWO moments. First, when he is talking to everyone and he is like, "I'M GOIN WITH JERK STORE. THAT'S IT. JERK STORE... JERK STORE" and then when he delivers the line at the end.

FAVORITE EPISODES: Like every single oaiufduasfopdisad, I DUNNO, The Comeback, The Contest, The Little Kicks, The Merv Griffin Show, The Susie, the one where George wants his girlfriend to think he is funnier than Jerry, The Big Salad, I DUNNO, SO MANY.

Best show ever.

Oh man it's so hard to determine my favorite quote cause there's so many.

One that really sticks out for me is the one where George is the book club and goes to that guy Joe's house to ask him if he can watch "Breakfast at Tiffany's" the movie instead of reading the book. When Joe asks him why he didn't just read the book, George replies.... "As I said the pink eye affected my vision, which made it very blurry." hahahaha

As for favorite episodes I have to so many. From the contest, the soup nazi, the yada yada, the soup, the cigar store indian, the raincoats, the pen, the boyfriend, the mango, the puffy shirt, the trip, etc, etc,etc

My favorite moment is when George gets the job with Yankees and also I liked when Kramer and Morty Seinfeld got into the business together selling raincoats "the executive"

I think George did mention having a brother once early in the show. I was watching the DVDs a while back and remember noticing him mention a brother but I can't remember in what context. It's like Jerry's sister. He mentioned her in the Chinese Restaraunt episode but never went into detail.

John la Rock
01-13-2005, 07:28 PM
^ ya they kind of ignored those characters. Also I remember that Elaine tells Jerry in one episode that she has a brother in-law

now you ask a question...

and now random quotes from Plan 9
"Visits? That would indicate visitors. "

"Greetings, my friends. We are all interested in the future, for that is where you and I are going to spend the rest of our lives. And remember, my friends, future events such as these will affect you in the future."

"Take a can of your gasoline. Say this can of gasoline is the sun. Now, you spread a thin line of it to a ball, representing the earth. Now, the gasoline represents the sunlight, the sun particles. Here we saturate the ball with the gasoline, the sunlight. Then we put a flame to the ball. The flame will speedily travel around the earth, back along the line of gasoline to the can, or the sun itself. It will explode this source and spread to every place that gasoline, our sunlight, touches. Explode the sunlight here, gentlemen, you explode the universe. Explode the sunlight here and a chain reaction will occur direct to the sun itself and to all the planets that sunlight touches, to every planet in the universe. This is why you must be stopped. This is why any means must be used to stop you. In a friendly manner or as (it seems) you want it."

"Perhaps, on your way home, someone will pass you in the dark, and you will never know it... for they will be from outer space. "

"But one thing's sure. Inspector Clay is dead, murdered, and somebody's responsible. "
