Anyone else get it? I love it. I had to wait in line 2 hours with about 300 people at my local gamestop to get it. Of and if anybody wants to play me online my screen name is.

Gonna get Madden when it comes out. Gonna kick your ass in it too this year. Do you have MVP? If you do, we can play that now :naughty:

For this ps2 online thing, you just have to pay the 50 dollars to get the adapter and play online right? You don't need to pay a monthly fee or anything..right?

RoXer

CORRECT!

So there are no server charges on top of your basic ISP charges? That is a pretty sweet deal. Damn Gamecube and their lack of online games.

Meh. Madden is gonna be better. I guess this could hold me over 3 or 4 more weeks until Madden is out. But gah, it take's like 4 years to save.

I've always been hesitant with the online, I'm not sure if it is worth it.

Oline Gaming = Poor Man's (or rather Rich Man's) getting friends together, sharing some beers, and playing some games.

How are you suposed to beat down the guy who beats you...back in my day we had fights after the game fight was done...I remember when you could get 5 used games for 25 bucks, now you pay so much damn money...*continues old man rant*

(oh and to the subject at hand, NCAA kicks ass!)

The game is pretty fun. I'm stumped completely on the Option plays. How the hell do you throw the ball? I site there and try every button combonation I can think of just off of pressing them all to the tune of Beethoven's Fifth, and I still end up diving about 10 yards back. :( Pretty nice. The homefield advantage feature is great. Might end up buying it.

To run the option you follow the play like in the playbook and when your ready to pitch it press R2.

My personal opinion on the game

- Homefield is cool as hell, but is kind of annoying to pump up the crowd on defense at home when trying to read the offense

- The matchup stick is okay. I mean, think about it, your player's ratings only go up or down 2-5 points or so, I believe it is no more than that. So, you can basically just look before the game at the roster and see who is going to suck it up for you.

- The new feel to the game is awesome, I like the fact you can't dart around because there is momentum this time around.

- Player models are better.

- Recruiting in dynasty mode is a helluva lot better. Especially changing player's positions and being able to recruit athletes.

- Passing is a tad more hard, a lot of dropped passes, but the challenge is good.

I put in a custom cover of Rhema McKnight, #5 ND WR.

RoXer

Why?

Gonzo

Why?

If you are questioning why I did that I have two reasons.

1. Larry Fitzgerald isn't even in the NCAA anymore.

2. Notre Dame is my team, so I put them in there.

3. I guess it doesn't make a difference, concept is just cool.

speaking of McKnight, I just threw him a 25 yard TD pass in Gainsville and he proceeded to get a taunting penalty by running up to the crowd and doing the Gator chomp

lol I love this game

Jesus Shuttlesworth

LOL thats sick I haven't seen that yet

Supreme you must be lovin' Ohio St in this years game, their new QB is pretty nasty. I don't his name yet, but that happens every year I get the game in the summer and find out whos whos in the Fall (unless of course a guy is a returning starter or whatever)

the stadium pulse is insane, I shut out Michigan with Notre Dame something like 45-0. The match-up stick is sweet too, so you can see whose on fire and who sucks ass

I dunno

Gonzo

Yeah I got that cover from that site Bo linked. I used some digital imaging HP program and printed a 7 X 5 picture. Slid it in there. McKnight is nasty.
