It seems like 60% of the forum love the Giants. Are you all from NY or what?

Show yourselves and your location.

The Giants rule..they just fucking own you all.

Been a fan since the season after they won the superbowl..that's cuz up in canada, we dont have any teams, and I finally got old enough to get the game. The Giants are the team most played on my local fox station, fox44.
I've been a fan ever since Hostetler won them the superbowl.
BTW, I'm from Montreal.

I've noticed as teams suddenly get good, "lifelong" fans seem to show up for that team. Tampa, Philly, New England, Oakland, New York Giants, and after today, I'm sure, Pittsburgh.

I'm a bit worried that due to the fact I'm new at TPWW, I'll be accused of bandwagon jumping, dispite having been a Steelers fan for 13 years, and am known in my hometown as "Pittsburgh" by the many Browns and Bengals fans.

The Icon of Elisim
11-01-2004, 01:53 AM
Well Fox shows like every Giants game they can so it makes sense that people are in love with them.

Myself, I am not

Jesus Shuttlesworth
11-01-2004, 01:54 AM
People werent talking about them because they just werent that good, I don't think its bandwagoning...What are you going to talk about? How bad they are? What's the point? Now that they are good you got shit to talk about...thats all.

The Highlander

At TheMayhem, TXF, and other forums, I talked about where the Steelers need to improve, why Lee Flowers sucks, ect. I spent a lot of time talking about them last season when they ended up 6-10, and ended up getting a "Biggest team mark" award.

Been a Giants fan all my life (and have made it known every season since 2001 when I first joined).

I live in Danbury, CT so there's no really close team. But Giants Stadium is still only like 2 hours away. I went to the Week 3 game against the Browns and I'm probably gonna be going to next week's game against the Bears.

Triple A

Dad was a Giant fan, first memory I have was watching a Giants/Cowboys game with him. Live in CT (40 minutes outside city).

Loose Cannon
11-01-2004, 06:48 PM
I don't know anybody except you that like both teams. Same with the Mets and Yankees. Eveyone I know likes one and hates the other. What are you trying to be a rebel here?

Triple A
11-01-2004, 06:48 PM
God shut up. If you hate one of the NY teams you are a fa</>ggot.

Loose Cannon
11-01-2004, 06:53 PM
Well you seem to hate the Bills you ******

Triple A
11-01-2004, 06:53 PM
Seriously, that is the most illogical rule ever. I can understand really liking one team and not really caring about the other, but HATING the other? WOW. Makes me want to punch you in the face.

Loose Cannon
11-01-2004, 06:53 PM
what the hell? Censored shit here.

Triple A
11-01-2004, 06:54 PM

No? I don't care about the Bills because they are from Buffalo. Like six hours away. I don't hate them at all. Unlike you, who hates the Giants. Even people outside of NY don't hate the Giants. So illogical. God.

Loose Cannon
11-01-2004, 06:55 PM
Alright maybe I shouldn't of used HATE. I don't like the Giants, but I Hate the Cowboys

Loose Cannon

There. I use Hate as a general "I don't like" term all the time dammit.

Triple A
11-01-2004, 06:57 PM
You said "The Giants can go to hell" and now you are taking it back. It just shows that everyone who lives by that gay "rule" is a fucking phony piece of shit who is only doing it because it's what you're supposed to do, or is the cool thing to do. It is possible to like more than one team, especially in football.

Loose Cannon
11-01-2004, 06:59 PM
You know what, they can go to hell just like the Mets, and just like the Rangers

Yankees, Jets, Islanders > Any other shitty NY teams.

In baseball, I don't really care about the Mets. In hockey, I don't care about hockey. In basketball, I like the Knicks.

In football, I love the Jets, but love the Giants too. If you are from NY and you hate one of them, you really are a giant piece of shit.

I am a Giants fan no doubt, but I don't hate the Jets. Giants just seem to have more interest to me, perhaps because of my father. I root for the Jets though, of course when they don't play the Giants. I would love to see a NY/NY Superbowl. That would be the shit.

The Highlander

Jets vs Giants....New York vs New York...happened in baseball.

I'm still hoping for an all-Pennsylvania Super Bowl. And Predicting it this year too.

I like the Jets more than the Giants, mostly because Chad Pennington is one of my favorite QBs.

I also dislike the NFC East, but it is hard to hate Dallas since DrA is from there :'( and Terry Glenn is the man also.
