According to www.ultimatedisney.com (http://www.ultimatedisney.com), some upcoming ('05 and '06) theatrical and DVD releases will include:

Mulan II (2/1/05, D2V)
Lilo & Stitch II (2005, T)
The Emperor's Newer Groove (Summer '05, D2V)
Tarzan II (2005, D2V)
Bambi and the Great Prince (Bambi II) (2006)
Pirates of the Caribbean II (2006, T)
Mighty Ducks 4 (2006, T)
Swiss Family Robinson (2006, T)
The Santa Clause 3 (2006, T)

T = Theatrical
D2V = Direct to Video

They can't really leave a good movie alone, can they? I mean honestly, does BAMBI really need a fucking sequel? Come on now. They're really hard up for the $$$, I suppose. Fuck Michael Eisner.

Disney has run out of freaking ideas. More than half the movies they make now are sequels.

Although I won't complain about the Pirates of the Carribean sequel. That is welcome.

I would honestly see most of those if they came out...no mater if they sucked or not because I loved the first one (of the many that came before it)...

But Bambi 2? I've never seen the first, but you should NOT fuck with a classic like that... What's next, Snow White and the Eight Dwarvs?

One I'd personally like to see is Toy Story 3... If only Pixar didn't seperate from Disney :(

Edit: I just checked and The Incredibles are from Disney and Pixar... Is this their last project or are they still together?

Hey ducks fans, its official there will be a mighty ducks 4 due out in 2005 starring both Emilio Estevez and Joshua Jackson. The story line is similar to the first movie but this time Charlie becomes the coach and coaches a young hockey team. Go on google and type mighty ducks 4.

Wow, a lot of sequels. Bambi 2 wll no doubt get attention. Good or bad is up in the air. It could end up being a masterpiece. Mighty Ducks 4 will be interesting. Emilio Estevez is one of my favourite actors of all time.

Toy Story 3 should be 3D again, and I hope they really get the mold right, and don't try anything new. Toy Story was great as Toy Story, changing the formula will change the results.

Pirates of the Caribbean was great in the cinema, but I haven't found the strength to watch it on video/DVD. I loved the movie, but it's ended up like Spider-Man in my book. Something that has a unique cinema experience to it, that can't be molded into DVD.

This new Mighty Ducks one is going to be shitty, I already know it. Either the old players will be on the NHL Mighty Ducks of Anaheim or else the old players' kids will be on their own Mighty Ducks now. This is a disgrace to all of Minnesota. It's going to be a Home Alone 3 :rant:

Mulan II is the only half interesting thing mentioned there, as it is around the timeline with the Three Kingdoms Era of China's history.

But, it'll probably be some bullshit of the girl's daughter going to fight for some made-up war against some evil foreign force, and the young girl's amazing struggle and eventually rise to a happy ending.

Which was the first movie, but still. Meh, I've never really liked Disney, and they're probably going to go under pretty hard in the next few years. PotC II will probably fail horribly.

2: Every parent in america will take their spoiled kid(s) to see every one just like every parent of a preteen girl voulenteers to take their kid to watch Britney Spears strip.
3: McDonalds stock will go up around every release (hmm....)

*shrug* Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I loved Pirates and think it is one of th best movies made in recent movie history..... despite it's obviously thieved elements from One Piece.
