No, this is not about the Limp Bizkit version which caused my ears to bleed  I noticed on Kazaa there is an acoustic version of this song for download. It says it's by Eddie Vedder, but it doesn't sound like him..Does anyone know who it is?

Ummmm...

I'm betting it's the Pete Townshend version, probably "LifeHouse Elements" being the album it's offa.

I'm not sure, tho. Is it live, or studio?

The LE versions (Or the full Lifehouse Chronicles, for that matter) can oft sound pretty different from the versions made famous by the Who on "Who's Next."

I dont think its live..but I heard from somebody else that it is Pete Townshend too, so i think that's right

Reason I asked is because I know that Pete DID perform live with Eddie Vedder. Not just at Royal albert Hall with the Who, but also in support of one of his solo tours (House of Blues, I believe).

I'm in the process of downloading a copy to see if it's the same one I know...

What can I say...

This is a version done by Pete Townshend, though I was wong about the LE album being the source. I've HEARD the version before, but I'm not sure where. That's Pete's voice, and it's almost identical to the LE version, except for the vocals are higher. The LE version has bass-ier vocals...

I THINK that this is the version from the Pete Townshend album "Scooped!" but I'm not sure where I put my copy.

It was written prior to Behind Blue Eyes? A song first written by Pete Townshend in the late 60s? I thought American Head Charge was a more recent band that.

In fact, Amazon.com lists their debut album as being released in 2001. You mean to tell me it took over 30 years to release this song, or are you just an ignorant fu</>ck who didn't know shit about the song he was trying to pass off as a rip-off?

Currently, I'm more amused than pissed off.

It's funny that a moron would be stupid enough to come in bitching about a completely unrelated limp bizkit song.

Don't know where the Eddie Vedder part comes from.
