Leinert will win. But I wanna give a shoutout to J J Arrington of Cal who has rushed for well over 100 yards each game this year including over 200 against Southern Miss the other day. I think his average a game is like 160 or so. He should be mentioned more than Rodgers now.

Brad Smith is still a darkhorse :shifty:

Is Alex Smith atleast getting an invite? They show the top 4 on the commerical all the time, but don't usually 5 guys go to NYC for the presentation?

I think Leinhart will win, but i don't think he deserves it. I would pick White or Peterson over him. White has 5 more or 6 more TD's, same ammount of INT's, and about 200 yards behid him. Peterson has been amazing all season, and if i could vote i would vote for him. Heisman voters will not pick White because he won last year, or Peterson because he's a Freshman.

Leinhart will win, but Damon Dowdell should win :shifty

Here's why Leinhart will win.

Peterson and White will cancel each other out, Smith won't because he's from Utah, Benson performed shitty in big games, Without Leinhart, USC is crap. Poor offensive line and poor run defence.

Paris Hamilton, the wide reciever for Minnesota, is a darkhorse

Without Bush, USC is crap

Yeah, I agree, I think Bush is more important than Lienart

Finalist were announced!

Matt Leinhart
Adrian Peterson
Reggie Bush
Jason White
Alex Smith

BCWWF

Lienart won, I was kinda hoping Jason White would, but honestly I don't think any of them this year were far and away the best, it just shows since 4-5 were QB/RB on the same team

But I do think this is one of the better Heisman classes we've had in recent memory. They all are pretty good players and any of them could have won.

Anyway, Peterson actually came in second in front of White, and Bush was last.

The experts sure missed the whole this is going to be a close race

Wow I was surprised Smith beat out Bush.

BCWWF
12-12-2004, 01:03 AM
Bush should not have gotton 5th, I think he is better than Lienert personally

Jesus Shuttlesworth
12-12-2004, 03:56 AM
Any of 5 of them could have won it. I bet a lot of people who were thinking about voting for Bush voted for Leinhart just becuase they wanted to make sure he won. That whole regional thing or whatever. I bet if only one Oklahoma player was nominated I bet they would have been closer to winning.

Nervous Ferret

I think Leinhardts gunna win, but I voted for Smith.

what are you talking about "they already announced the winner?"

Peterson, if he keeps up his performance, is a shoe in next year or the following year

Jesus Shuttlesworth
12-12-2004, 03:54 PM
Thats what everyone said about Darren Sprolls(SP?) last year and look at him now.

Nervous Ferret
12-12-2004, 03:56 PM
Sproles*

I'd say Reggie Bush is the front-runner for next year.

BCWWF
12-12-2004, 04:36 PM
Sproles team sucked which hurt him

Rain Man
12-12-2004, 04:45 PM
No doubt Peterson has the best chance of winning it next year.

BCWWF
12-12-2004, 06:34 PM
Why not Lienert again?

Rain Man
12-12-2004, 07:18 PM
Why not Lienert again?
True, depending if he comes back which he probably is but I think Peterson is going to be huge next year. Wasn't this White's last season?

The Miz

Jason White = Chris Weinke 2004

Jesus Shuttlesworth
12-13-2004, 12:37 AM
Lienhart will probably leave. The 1st pick in this years draft will probably be a QB, and you can't really pass up going #1.

White came back because nobody really wants him in the NFL. He's not an "NFL Prospect" I am not knocking him at all, but its the truth. I don't understand why everyone feels when you are a good college player you have to be a good pro or you are a huge "bust", it just doesn't work out for everyone.

BCWWF
12-13-2004, 02:26 AM
It was reported on ESPN.com that Lienert would be returning for a 5th year.

Was this White's 5th or 6th?

The Outlaw
12-13-2004, 12:41 PM
This was White's 6th

He will be a NFL qb. He might not be a good or starting, but there are like nearly 100 QB's in the NFL, so he will be there.

BCWWF
12-13-2004, 01:59 PM
Its rediculous to think that he will never make a team, its how much he plays that is in question people, don't be stupid.

Innovator
12-14-2004, 12:33 PM
If/when USC beats Oklahoma, Leinart won't come back

You can't top a national championship and the Heisman
