View Full Version : Rate The Wrestler - Day 112 - Stevie Richards

Welcome again to everyone, favorite thing, well maybe not, but anywayz...It's Rate The Wrestler, and here we are, coming up on Four Months very soon, since I begin this thing, just 7 Days Removed From Summerslam this past year. Yesterday Wrestler, Perry Saturn, scored a good, 82...but nowhere near enough to put him into the Top 10, A Feat, that may indeed be, impossible to do now of days.

Anywayz, I'm still on my ECW Venge that started last week and it continues today, with a man, who was the driving force behind one of the greatest ECW Stables of All time...It may of been a parody of the nWo, but it didn't stop the fans from loving it, This man, is the most underused guy in the WWE right now, He is Stevie Richards!

His good but not brilliant.

9.3.

As most of you might know, I enjoy watching guys preform and develop as characters more so than watching guys preform in the ring. Richards did both equally great though. The guy was meant to be a wrestler and was meant to be preforming on the big stage. He can literally take a crap character and make it not only enjoyable, but make it last long and still be enjoyable to watch. I absolutely loved his RTC gimmick, which was really just suppossed to be a quick thing. His Flock stuff showed another sde he could play. He could be a babyface and get the crowd going a la BWO or just be his crazy self, like with Victoria. The guy could do it all.

8.3, he is one funny, cartoon character that could pull off a good match, maybe in WWE if they let him once in a while.

9 I feel really bad for him. He has such great potential and is made to look like a joke. And I'm with you LC, I loved his RTC gimmick. I also remember when he first came to the WWE and imitated a lot of the wrestlers. Good stuff.

I can't think of any other wrestller that would do some of the dumb stuff that the WWE puts him up to. Some of the crap is just funny as hell. On the other hand, I don't think that the WWE uses him to his full ability. Given the chance to really wrestle, he's good.
I give him an 8.5

For an average wrestler, he's a great entertainer, and a great person on top of that. Never once heard of him complaining about jobbing. His ECW career is way better than WWE.

He's got the skills but he hasn't had the chance to really do anything with them yet.

Gotta laugh at that Battle Royale on Raw two weeks ago though...

Wow, that was good reading there. I hope this develops into some type of push for the guy. Maybe put him in a program with Shelton for the IC title.
