I wonder why directors still cast him in movies. I was watching that new Ethan Hawke trailer where they're trapped inside the precinct. Then I saw Ja Rule, and that was the end.

Fat Joe never got on? I dunno about that. Go to a club right now and see how many people are leaning back.

^^ so true. First it was brushing off shoulders, now people lean back. What's next?

I haven't been to a club since before that song came out.

Fat Joe rode Big Pun's coattails though so its not really the same thing

besides even Sisqo had a club hit

it's a trend. each dance gets lazier and lazier.

first the craze was shruggint eh shoulders repeatedly, then it turned to brushin your shoulders, now it's leanin back. The next big thing is the breathe.

*inhale and exhale

but Fat Joe and Ja are really irritatin.

The thing that makes it catchy is the chord progression. All the new hardcore/metal bands are using the same progression in all of their songs. <</>/comment nobody cares about>

What song? New York? Yeh, I think it's a pretty good song. All three of them spit some pretty good verses, but I think Jada takes it to another level when he rips it...

did they take a jab at Mase in there?

Optik

Na, Joe says...

"And I was just about to find God
But now that Mase is back,
I think I'd much rather find a menage"

So, Joe's basically saying he was going to give up the gangster way of living to find God, but since Mase has made his return after a 5 year hiatus, he would much rather find a menage a trois. (3 some for those less informed people out there)
