Eternal Sunshine was absolutely amazing.
Collateral was good entertainment.
Saw was really cool.

1) Garden State
2) The Incredibles
3) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
4) Collateral
5) Kill Bill Volume 2

That's really the top three right now. I haven't been out to see Before Sunset, Sideways, Finding Neverland, The Motorcycle Diaries, or Ray yet, so I'm sure the list will change somewhat. I'm also only counting movies that came out this year, because I saw a lot of movies that came out last year for the first time this year (21 Grams and The Station Agent in particular).

I keep my stubs, too. I have them dating back to when I was about ten. Over the last four years alone, I've built up well over 200 of them. I have probably 20 from ages 10-18, then just went nuts (cinematically speaking) when I got to college.

I'd have to think hard about this year's best (personally I feel it's been a rather lousy year for film). However, I just saw The Aviator and hands-down it is the best picture of the year.

From what I've seen anyway.

Ray, Garden State, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Kill Bill Vol. 2, Napoleon Dynamite, and the Notebook is probably the most under rated movies this year. I'd give it at least a top 4 or 5 nod.
