Raw last night drew a strong 4.0 rating with an overrun of 4.8 for Batista's interview.

Although Benoit vs Capt. Charisma was a great match and the Hogan annoucement was great and the Jericho-Benjamin confrontation I thought Raw wasnt that great with the overall matches so I am suprised by the rating

It's riding the momentum of previous shows. Come on, Wrestlemania was a major high point and the previous Raw was pretty damn good.

To be honest I didn't think much of this weeks Raw, but you know they are going to put on a decent show next week as it's at MSG, so this was the best time to put on the weaker show. I do like how they are making most of the matches for Backlash earlier than normal though. They've already set up 4 potential matches
