Recently I found myself watching a lot of b-movies. For those of you who aren't sure exactly what b-movies are they are low budget/crappy movies. They are often movies that are so bad they are comic gold mines. Many of those cheesy horror movies are considered b-movies. I was wondering what some of your guys favorites are.

mine:

FLESH GORDON: One of the funniest movies ever. It originally was meant to be a porn but the cost of making it was so high they lowered it to an R rating so it could make more money. It is a parody on Flash Gordon. Flesh Gordon still contains numerous pornographic scenes. It was meant to be hilarious and it comes out like 10 times funnier then I think it was supposed to be. If you ever find this movie watch it, you will not be disapointed.

Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter: Another comic gold. The name says it all I think. Jesus Christ comes back and kicks some Vampire ass. These are special vampires that can go out during day, and you know why they can? Well it turns out if the remove skin from a lesbian and put it on a vampire it allows the vampire to go in the sun. That is just part of it, I don't want to give it away. Numerous vampires are killed in this film and its all done in a creative way. This is another one you need to see.

The Giant Spider Invasion: On IMDBs bottom list for worst films of all time. It has the skipper in it from Gilligans Island. Very poorly done and hilarious when it wasn't meant to be. The giant spiders are clearly VW Bugs too. Has one of my favorite lines in it being "Sorry I couldn't go to the sermon" "It's Alright" "What was it about" "Sin." "What he have to say about sin" "He was against it" I'm sure I fucked that up but still hiliarious to me. One of the movies where its best to watch it with lots of friends and just make fun of it. I also heard it was a MST3K episode and was very good, I haven't seen it yet.

The Puma Man: I saw the MST3K episode of this. It does drag a little in the middle but its a lot like Giant Spider Invasion where its best to watch with numerous friends.

Any ED WOOD film: I have the box set of his films and its great. Plan 9 From Outer Space is a good watch whether alone or with numerous friends. It goes from day to night back to day in a matter of a car ride. Lots and lots of mistakes in this film which makes it a riot. Also Glen or Glenda? This one I recommend watching with group of people because if alone watching it it can drag a little. It will teach you everything you want to now about trans, gays, and all that type of stuff. Funny watch.

There are some other movies I am forgetting. I can't remeber the name of one. It was part of a Bimbo Cult Classic series or something. If i remember I'll post it. I'll probably post more too. I just bought Santa Claus Conquers The Martians which should be excellent.

Post some of your favorites and I'll check them out if I can find them

-edit-
Just thought of some other great ones.

Leprechaun 4 In Space: A hilarious movie in the series. Arguebly the worse one from the series and craziest one. Everyone thinks of Lep In Da hood and Back 2 Da Hood but this one is so much crazier. I don't even want to spoil anything about it for you because its that good. All I can say is watch it with group of people and enjoy.

This is a great fucking movie. The best part about watching it was going, hey, I hang out there, ate there. Good times.

B-movies are weird like that. Some people love them for such a strange reason while others can't stand them. I love them, I really don't know why but I just do. I can see why people can't get through some of them, hell even sometimes I have troubles. B-Movies are best to watch with numerous friends. I can't tell how many references me and my friends make each day from crappy b-movies we have wtched.

Spider-Babe: Its sorta like that Flesh Gordan movie posted above. Its basically Spiderman but with a girl. Almost all the same stuff happens except there is a different villian. Its basically a cheap porn movie that they show on Cinemax or HBO late at night but its a pretty funny movie to watch. Tons of Lesbian scenes in it. I always watch it when it comes on because its a pretty funny movie to watch. And you will never guess where she shoots webs from....all right I guess all I had to say was that it was a porn movie and you can sorta guess where she shoots the webs from.

Six String Samurai: A very cheaply made movie but high concept --- Communist Russia has conquered all of America except the city of Lost Vegas, where Elvis is King. Sword wielding guitarists from all over the world head to Lost Vegas to become the new king, including Death, a villainous practitioner of heavy metal --- and a skilled katana master who looks a lot like Buddy Holly.

Manos, the Hand of Fate: I can't say that the movie itself it enjoyable, but I do own the MST3K version and I agree with the fans who crowned this the greatest MST3K episode of all time.

Dagon: This shows up on the sci-fi channel a few times. It's a creepy retelling of an HP Lovecraft story. Man, his wife, and his crew get stranded on an island where people are half fishes and are craving for human sacrifice.

House of the Dead: Considered one of the worst movies ever, but which I find oddly enjoyable. Director Uwe Boll adapts a video game to the big screen too literally... he splices scenes of zombie carnage with 32-bit video game footage. At least I think they were zombies, because the make-up job was awful. Funniest scene: there's a pirate flashback (yes, a pirate flashback) where the baddie is in his younger days as an impossibly roided-up wizard. He's hanged, and while he's ojn the ropes, he laughs maniacally. Absolutely hilarious.

The Wild Wild World of Batwoman: Yes, I own the MST3K version, but I was brave enough to watch the unedited movie provided on the DVD. Absolutely awful and made me wonder what in the world people in the 60's thought was "funny". Anyway, Batwoman and her burlesque dancers go through "zany" adventures to foil the evil Rat Fink from stealing an atomic hearing aid. Right.

I can't remember the name of it, but its this movie with Mario Lopez in it and he's acting all ghetto. It's just great seeing Slater waiving a gun around....

"Call me a sexist pig again BITCH!!" As he pops a cap in Jessie's ass.
